Talking to an old friend of mine, one of the few I've known for more than 10 years, we exchanged an idea about how friendship is a cycle and is something that makes us think about someone, whether that person is present or not in our lives currently, how sometimes they fall apart and what remains is just nostalgia and memories of good times with these people.
We met playing DOTA and then later DOTA 2, since then many other people were part of our gaming group and we had contact with these people, but, as we talked to him, it's funny how something brings people together and then when it ends, these friends just leave and worst of all, even though they have their contact, there are no more conversations, dialogues or any other interaction between them.
This friend of mine lives in São Paulo, one of the biggest cities in Brazil, so he doesn't live here in the same state as where I live, but even so he continues to be the closest to me, even after more than 10 years and every now and then we exchange an idea as said in the first paragraph. This weekend, I sent him some audios and texts and we talked about that cool time when the game brought us together and I told him how I missed that time, how cool it was to have so many people to talk to and spend time talking.
FreepikI commented on how Facebook has an interesting function, called “Memories” and it does exactly that, it shows us the things we have posted or been tagged with throughout our lives on Facebook and among them, records often appear. screen time and jokes that our group of friends did at that time, when we posted talking about some horrible move a friend had made or something from our own lives that we shared with them and I told my friend how much I missed that time.
He still plays DOTA 2 and even invites me to play, but it's been so long that I don't even know if I'm excited anymore, I would have to relearn how to play as if I were to relearn how to drink water, but well, I told him about it, about how seeing these memories sometimes brings me a smile and sometimes even a bad feeling, how I “lost” these friends, how strange it is to see them on Social Media, but we don't talk anymore and how the vision I have is of a strange to them and they probably think the same.
I felt like that, very alone in this matter of friends, no matter how virtual they are, so I told my long-time friend about how Hive helped me with this, how I discovered new people and new stories and moments like that, special, that like at that time when we had our group, now I had found a new tribe that was making me very happy, which are the Brazilians here at Hive, who I have more contact with and have talked a lot with them, whether about financial matters or even personal things, especially because I consider many people to be friends and I like to share things in my life with them.

On this long road of life, some stay, others participate, others leave, but, as we often say, we must know how to enjoy every moment, always trying to have and keep the good memories we had with them.

Conversando com um amigo meu das antigas, um dos poucos que tenho mais de 10 anos que conheço, trocamos uma ideia sobre como a amizade é um ciclo e é algo que nos faz pensar em alguém, seja essa pessoa presente ou não nas nossas vidas atualmente, como às vezes se desfazem e o que resta é apenas saudades e as lembranças dos bons momentos com essas as pessoas.
Nos conhecemos jogando DOTA e depois posteriormente o DOTA 2, de lá para cá muitas outras pessoas faziam parte do nosso grupo de jogo e tínhamos contato com essas pessoas, mas, como conversado com ele, é engraçado como algo une as pessoas e depois quando acaba, esses amigos apenas se vão e o pior de tudo, mesmo possuindo o contato deles, não existem mais conversas, diálogos ou qualquer outra interação entre eles.
Esse meu amigo mora em São Paulo, uma das grandes cidades do Brasil, então ele não mora aqui no mesmo estado onde moro, mas mesmo assim ele continua sendo o mais próximo de mim, mesmo depois destes mais de 10 anos e vez ou outra trocamos uma ideia como dito no primeiro parágrafo. Neste final de semana, enviei alguns áudios e textos para ele e conversamos sobre aquela época legal que o jogo nos unia e falei para ele como sentia saudades daquele tempo, de como era legal ter tanta gente para conversar e passar o tempo conversando.
FreepikComentei sobre como o Facebook têm uma função interessante, sendo essa chamada de “Lembranças” e ela faz exatamente isso, nos mostras as coisas que postamos ou que formos marcados durante toda a nossa vida dentro do Facebook e dentre elas, muitas vezes aparecem os registros de tela e brincadeiras que nosso grupo de amigos fazia naquela época, quando postávamos falando sobre alguma jogada horrível de um amigo ou algo da nossa própria vida que compartilhávamos com eles e falei para o meu amigo como sentia saudades dessa época.
Ele ainda joga o DOTA 2 e até me chama para jogar, mas, já faz tanto tempo que nem sei se animo mais, teria que reaprender a jogar como se eu fosse reaprender a beber água, mas bem, falei para ele sobre isso, sobre como ver essas lembranças às vezes me traz uns sorriso e às vezes até uma sensação ruim, de como “perdi” esses amigos, de como é estranho ver eles nas Redes Sociais, mas não conversamos mais e de como a visão que tenho é de um estranho para eles e provavelmente eles pensem o mesmo.
Eu me sentia assim, bem sozinho nessa questão de amigos, por mais que sejam virtuais, então falei para o meu amigo de longa data sobre como a Hive me ajudou com isso, como descobri novas pessoas e novas histórias e momentos assim, especiais, que como naquela época que tinha nosso grupo, agora havia encontrado uma nova tribo que estava me fazendo muito feliz, os quais são os brasileiros aqui na Hive, que tenho mais contato e tenho conversado bastante com eles, seja sobre assuntos financeiros ou até mesmo coisas pessoais, até porque muitos considero como amigos e gosto de compartilhar as coisas da minha vida com eles.
UnsplashA amizade é isso, ciclos, que começam, terminam ou se mantêm, existe alguém que ficará na sua vida até o último suspiro, existem outras que terão uma data de validade ou apenas uma fina linha que unirá vocês. Nessa longa estrada da vida, alguns ficam, outros participam, outros se vão, mas, como muito dizemos, devemos saber aproveitar cada momento, tentando sempre ter e manter as boas lembranças que tivemos com elas.
