Social media is under the strong political eye in Brazil. After all, for those who don't like its power to unite people so they can debate or question everything that appears on television or other news sites, social networks have become a constant target of this, often being put at risk, with the great potential for regulation that the current government defends, in addition to other people like judges who think they are gods, who are also bothered by the voice of the people on the networks.
Even though Brazil is currently focused on a virtual war between the right and the left, social networks like X have become a point of freedom of expression so that we can defend our point of view. After all, according to the government, that's what they want most: to control everything we can say or do. That's the dream of the current left-wing government. So, yes, social media has a huge influence on the political scene, because it has become the place where we can fight fake news and dubious information that the government always tries to send to everyone. In their minds, everything is wonderful, but it really isn't.
I can say that social media has been wonderful for Brazil. It has managed to unite the right, which until now had been quite absent, without a great leader like Jair Bolsonaro, who was the last decent president we had. It has managed to continue what he started: the union of the right, of the conservatives who were tired of seeing a country that was and continues to go bankrupt, whether financially, ethically or morally, where wrong is right and right is wrong. Without social media, we would not have been able to do this, to build a barrier against what has been happening in our country.
UnsplashWe can cite several examples, such as one of them was to register the PIX movement greater than 5 thousand reais, which would be applied to all Brazilians. So, above this amount moved, the federal revenue would already try to understand what happened, why did you move this amount? With the extremely negative repercussions of this on social media, the government was forced to give in to this. The most incredible thing is that only the truth was spread on the networks, so we fought something bad only by uniting people on the media and thus, by showing our indignation, they backed down.
This just shows the power that social networks have to show indignation over the actions of governments, whatever they may be. We need a way to unite and find a way to fight back, question, not let it go without at least showing our collective opinion on whether such a change will be good or bad for all of us. Therefore, social networks are essential for this, to seek the truth, to monitor, to hold our politicians accountable, who here have such a horrible reputation for corruption.
Finally, I am against any type of regulation of social networks. We can never let this happen. This is silencing our voice, which is what they so much want to implement here in Brazil and I hope from the bottom of my heart that we do not let this happen. Nothing can silence our voice, and so Hive becomes a source of information and a perfect liberal space for all of us who run from dictatorships and governments that try to silence us. Here, it could be our last refuge of freedom.

As mídias sociais estão sob o olhar forte da política no Brasil, afinal, para aqueles que não gostam de seu poder de unir as pessoas para poderem debater ou questionar tudo o que aparece na televisão ou em outros sites de noticiais, as redes sociais se tornaram um alvo constante disso, muitas vezes sendo colocada em risco, com o grande potencial de regulamentação que o governo atual defende além de que outras pessoas como juízes que se acham deuses, que também se incomodam com a voz do povo nas redes.
Por mais que o Brasil hoje seja focado em uma guerra virtual entre direita e esquerda, as redes sociais como o X, se tornaram um ponto de liberdade de expressão para podermos defender o nosso ponto de vista, afinal, segundo o governo o que eles mais querem é isso, controlar tudo o que podemos dizer ou fazer, esse é o sonho do atual governo de esquerda. Então, sim, as mídias sociais influenciam demais o cenário político, pois se tornaram o lugar onde podemos combater as fake news e as informações duvidosas que o governo tenta sempre enviar para todos. Na cabeça deles, está tudo mil maravilhas, mas não está mesmo.
Posso dizer que as mídias sociais foram maravilhosas para o Brasil, ela conseguiu unir a direita, que até o momento estava bastante ausente, sem um grande líder como Jair Bolsonaro, sendo o último presidente decente que tivemos, elas conseguiram dar continuidade naquilo que ele começou: a união da direita, dos conservadores que estavam cansados de ver um país que estava e continua indo à falência seja financeira, ética e moral, onde o errado é certo e o certo é errado, sem as redes sociais, não teríamos conseguindo isso, montar uma barreira contraria ao que vem acontecendo no nosso país.
UnsplashPodemos citar vários exemplos, como um deles foi o de registrar a movimentação de PIX maior do que 5 mil reais, que iria ser aplicado em todos os brasileiros. Então, acima deste valor movimentado, a receita federal já iria tentar entender o que aconteceu, por que você movimentou esse valor? Com a repercussão super negativa disso nas mídias sociais, o governo se viu obrigado a ceder com isso. O mais incrível é que somente a verdade foi difundida nas redes, então, combatemos algo ruim somente com a união das pessoas nas mídias e assim, mostrando nossa indignação, retrocederam.
Isso só mostra o poder que as redes sociais têm, para mostrar a indignação em cima dos atos dos governos, sejam eles quais forem. Precisamos de uma maneira de nos unir e buscar uma forma de revidar, questionar, não deixar passar sem ao menos que mostremos a nossa opinião coletiva se tal mudança será boa ou ruim para todos nós. Portanto, as redes sociais são essenciais para isso, para buscar a verdade, vigiar, cobrar nossos políticos que aqui tanto têm a sua fama horrível de corruptos.
Por fim, sou contra qualquer tipo de regulamentação de redes sociais, não podemos deixar isso acontecer nunca, isso é calar a nossa voz, é o que tanto desejam implementar aqui no Brasil e espero do fundo do coração que não deixemos isso acontecer. Nada pode silenciar nossa voz e, por isso, a Hive se torna até uma fonte de informação e um espaço liberal perfeito para todos nós, que corremos das ditaduras e governos que tentam nos silenciar. Aqui, pode ser o nosso último refúgio de liberdade.
