Some years back I use to sell shoes online... I deal with different kinds of shoes; sneakers, cover shoe, half shoe, palm, sandals and even ladies and children shoes of all kinds.
Due to the fact that my shop is mobile shop, I have customers all over the country patronizing I just get their orders and then do the waybill to wherever the customer is. Business was booming and everything was going fine.
To anyone that have been involved in selling things or still involved would know how frustrating some customers can be. Maybe some do it deliberately, they would just do things that will make you frustrated. I don't think they saying that goes thus; "customers are not always right" is applicable when the customer is actually wrong.
I'll quickly share the experience I had with a customer when I was still in the business of selling shoes. I got a WhatsApp message by this customer
that she wanted to buy her boyfriend a sneaker so she asked me to help her get a nice one which I did, but the problem was the size, she did not know the size her boyfriend was wearing and instead of her to make her findings properly she was busy doing other things I guessed and I can remember I told her several times to be sure of the size because returning shoes it's not an easy thing. I know the stress involved so I keep telling her to confirm the size before I'll send it.
After some days she messaged me the size and said I can now send it with the hope that she's sure of the size, I did the waybill. It was meant to be a birthday gift, as she claimed. After the birthday she called only to start yelling at me that the sneaker I sent was not her boyfriend's size, like for some minutes I don't even know what to say, I was short of words, I don't know maybe I should blast her or pet her. She asked if she can exchange it but after I also explained to her how much it will cost she admit that it's better not to change it.
Unfortunately, she has not balance her payment, so she's trying to defend herself that she can only send the balance not until she sees someone that will buy it. I know that will be a hard thing to do and very difficult to find someone that will buy it because even if we see someone that also likes the design what about the size. And shoes are not like clothes that one can slim fit to his/her size.
My experience with her was a very bad one, she made the business tiring for me, she would always message me everyday to know if I have gotten a buyer for it.
Good news!

Fortunately after some months, I found a buyer and that was how I was able to overcome the frustrating customer so to say, I pray I don't meet her kind again. But I doubt if the prayer is going to work, it's only when you stop selling that you won't see a customer that will frustrate the cool man in you and make you do otherwise.
In short I'll say customers can either be right or wrong not already right.
