Here are a few farm critters I saw today.
This is a small forest preserve that functions as a historical show farm.
The darker horses tried to keep cool in the shade of the barn.
The sheep were trying to keep cool under a historical wagon prop.
This guy was out in the field munching on wild grass.
I managed to call this guy over for a pet.
Poor guy was really panting from the heat with all this wool.
This baby calf had it made in the shade.
This turkey also took advantage of the shade.
It kept hollering to try and call the other turkeys over.
Eventually it noticed me and stopped gobbling.
The chickens like the sun and were running around everywhere. I suspect they use the sun to kill of various mites in their feathers.
That's all for for now... Thanks for looking :-)
