So here are my THREE offerings for this weekend.
Why not checkout the @detlev post and send some new tunes to listen too?

My tastes tend to be more to progressive metal and alternative so this is what you will probably expect from me today and going forward.
Tool - Eulogy
This song from Tool was wondering around my head this morning as I was watching @bingbabe do yet another 5k Parkrun. I was going to attend the run myself, but my back has been spasming again for the last few days and I don’t want to antagonise it.
Tool were very hard to crack for me, as their sound is so different, however this one resonated quite rapidly for me. Did they hire a parrot for the start of the song? I always did wonder.
Pearl Jam – Life Wasted
After the Ten album, what was next? Nothing eclipsed their fantastic debut album but there were some gems. I discovered this one from the Rock Band games again. They used to emphasize the guitar tracks in those games and I do miss hearing those 'special versions' of some songs.
Anthrax - Madhouse
After @catweasel’s comment of ‘this is not metal’, I thought I would add some ‘proper stuff’ to my article this week. I’m not a big metal or Anthrax fan, but some of it does get me.
I know @trolleydave is a fan of this song, I remember both of us trying to play it once again on Rock Band years ago. It was fast, furious and quite impossible to master. Playing it on a real guitar must be incredibly hard. Are you up for an OpenMic of Madhouse @steevc?
Pump up the volume, PLAY IT LOUD!
