Hello Alien art and Splinterlands community, today I bring you my new entry with a design set in an almost cyberpunk style. Although the card shows us a medieval wizard style, I was curious about how that magic would look combined with a cyber era style. So, without further ado, let's see the development of the design.
Hola comunidad de Alien art y Splinterlands, hoy les presento mi nueva participación con un diseño ambientado en un estilo casi cyberpunk. Aunque la carta nos muestra un estilo de mago medieval, me surgió la curiosidad de cómo se vería esa magia junto a un estilo de una época cyber. Así que, sin más que agregar a la introducción, pasemos a ver el desarrollo del diseño.
PROCESS
Starting from the main design and the image of the subject, I proceeded to shade their face as it was not noticeable, and then created a certain darkness in the environment to later display neon lights and that magic along with cyberpunk elements.
Partiendo del diseño principal y la imagen del sujeto, procedí a sombrear su cara ya que no se notaba, y luego creé una cierta oscuridad en el entorno para luego poder desplegar las luces neón y esa magia junto a elementos cyberpunk.
I took the shapes of their eyes and, by giving them white eyes, I created an extra layer and applied a motion effect to it as seen in the main image. Then, I placed a metal mesh with holes on top of it to give it an effect as if they were cyber glasses.
Tomé las formas de sus ojos y, al darles ojos blancos, creé una capa extra y le apliqué un efecto de movimiento como se ve en la imagen principal. Luego, coloqué una malla de metal con orificios encima para darle un efecto como si fueran unos lentes cyber.
I created the orbs surrounding the wizard with a special brush, giving more focus to those closer and blurring and reducing opacity to those in the background. Once the orbs were formed, I added highlights along the edges where a pinkish light is reflected. To achieve this, I created a uniform color layer and inverted it to adjust the opacity of the brush, and once that part was finished, I moved on to the next light.
Creé los orbes que rodean al mago con un pincel especial, dando mayor enfoque a los que están más cerca y desenfocando y reduciendo la opacidad a los que se encuentran en el fondo. Una vez formados los orbes, añadí brillos en los bordes donde se refleja cierta luz rosada. Para ello, creé una capa de color uniforme y la invertí para ajustar la opacidad del pincel, y una vez finalizada esa parte, pasé a la siguiente luz.
For this section, I placed its title with a dynamic typography that will give us a certain visual play along with a description of its LORE.
Para esta sección, coloqué su título con una tipografía dinámica que nos dará cierto juego visual junto con una descripción de su LORE.
I needed to implement something that resembles the cyberpunk idea, so I created a computer with screens. Using a layer mask, I meticulously focused on the main screens and emphasized them along with the cables. I erased their background and placed the Splinterlands logo using a blending mode along with a saturation layer to give it a white and yellow color. Then, for all the technology, I used an exposure mask to add light and shadow to the buttons it comprises and finished with highlights. I hope you liked my contribution and idea for a skin that would be attributed to the magician/card design. We'll see you in the next participation.
Disculpas por el error. Necesitaba implementar algo que nos asemejara a la idea de cyberpunk, así que creé una computadora con pantallas. Usando una máscara de capa, me enfoqué meticulosamente en las pantallas principales y las resalté junto con los cables. Borre el fondo y coloqué el logo de Splinterlands usando un modo de fusión junto con una capa de saturación para darle un color blanco y amarillo. Luego, para toda la tecnología, utilicé una máscara de exposición para agregar luz y sombra a los botones que la componen y terminé con brillos.
