LIOCEROS
Hola comunidad de Alien Art y entusiastas de Splinterlands. Hoy les traigo un diseño elaborado con la carta LIOCEROS, partiendo de su idea y mi propia interpretación que lo asimila directamente como un rinoceronte con toda su armadura y pelaje. Para lograrlo, utilicé una imagen de un rinoceronte como referencia, y la posición que se capturó fue perfecta para trabajar con la imagen. A continuación, les mostraré el proceso de diseño.

Once the editing program is open, we proceed to crop the image and create a layer mask to work on and correct any errors. Placing a uniform color on top (selected with the color picker from its skin tone), we then invert the layer and use the overlay blend mode to paint the area where we will work on the shadows and textures of its skin.
Una vez abierto el programa de edición, procedemos a recortar la imagen y crear una máscara de capa para trabajar y corregir cualquier error. Colocando un color uniforme encima (seleccionado con el cuentagotas de su tono de piel), luego invertimos la capa y usamos el modo de fusión superponer para pintar la zona donde trabajaremos las sombras y texturas de su piel.
For the fur, the approach was: "texture of orange/brown fur." Once the result was obtained, I proceeded to place it behind the head, carefully ensuring that the protruding parts of the fur were in front of its head and behind, respecting the shadows coming from above. I added a light exposure mask and another for curves to enhance the appearance of the fur, accompanied by the green light from its eyes as depicted in the card.

Una vez obtenido el resultado, procedí a colocarlo detrás de la cabeza, asegurándome cuidadosamente de que las partes salientes del pelaje estuvieran delante de su cabeza y detrás, respetando las sombras que provienen de arriba. Agregué una máscara de exposición de luz y otra para curvas para mejorar la apariencia del pelaje, acompañada por la luz verde de sus ojos como se muestra en la carta.
For the rocky texture that would cover the skin like armor, I generated rocks with different colors to provide the most realistic view possible. So I continued by adding and detailing the rocks on its face and horn using layer masks. I also placed some rocks on its legs, especially the most noticeable one on the front. Once the rocks were placed, I used levels, curves, and exposure adjustment layers, which allowed me to recreate a play of shadows. By erasing those shadows with the brush tool, we give light that can match the perspective of where it comes from.
Para la textura rocosa que cubriría la piel como una armadura, generé rocas con diferentes colores para proporcionar la vista más realista posible. Así que continué agregando y detallando las rocas en su rostro y cuerno utilizando máscaras de capa. También coloqué algunas rocas en sus piernas, especialmente la más notable en la parte frontal. Una vez colocadas las rocas, utilicé capas de ajuste de niveles, curvas y exposición, lo que me permitió recrear un juego de sombras. Al borrar esas sombras con la herramienta pincel, damos luz que puede coincidir con la perspectiva de donde proviene.
Once I finished adding the spikes protruding from its hair, I moved on to creating the background. For the background, I had several styles in mind, including recreating a portal with a desert backdrop and dust rising, or leaving the dust and surrounding it with intricate details that wouldn't detract from the composition of the character/creature. So I chose to discard that option and instead opted for a half black and white background, which would ultimately serve as the superior visual attraction, followed by the design. Finally, I placed noise textures and a complement of it to add a bit more realism. I hope you liked this contribution, and we'll see you in the next one.
Una vez que terminé de agregar los picos que sobresalen de su pelo, pasé a crear el fondo. Para el fondo, tuve en mente varios estilos, entre ellos recrear un portal con un desierto de fondo y que sobresalga polvo de tierra, o dejar el polvo de tierra y rodearlo con detalles minuciosos que no atraparan la vista hacia la composición del personaje/criatura. Así que opté por descartar esa opción y en su lugar elegí un fondo mitad blanco y mitad negro, que en última instancia serviría como la atracción visual superior, seguido por el diseño.
