In my new entry, I present to you RIFTWING. It was pleasant to create this interpretation, especially due to the captivating colors it possesses. The idea of highlighting the neon green of its eyes came to me quickly. After enhancing that green, I proceeded to add a background to make it stand out, capturing attention in the final design. En mi nueva participación, les presento a RIFTWING. Fue agradable realizar esta interpretación, especialmente por los cautivadores colores que tiene. La idea de resaltar el verde neón de sus ojos surgió rápidamente. Después de realzar ese verde, procedí a colocar un fondo para lograr que se destacara, capturando así la atención en el diseño final. PROCESS
To align with the design, I gave the illustration a combined appearance of bat wings and owl torso. Once these elements were generated, I examined the details and began making cuts in the owl's wings and bat's torso. After overlaying them, I created a saturation layer and adjusted the colors to match those in the original illustration.
Para entrar en sintonía con el diseño, doté a la ilustración de apariencias combinadas de alas de murciélago y torso de búho. Una vez generados estos elementos, me dediqué a examinar los detalles y comenzar a realizar cortes en las alas del búho y el torso del murciélago. Una vez colocados en superposición, creé una capa de saturación y ajusté los colores para que coincidieran con los de la ilustración original.
After creating the initial composition, I started highlighting the lights in its eyes and tried to replicate a similar neon glow. Then, I focused on emphasizing its wings with the same color, as if they were part of the light reflecting on its body.
Después de realizar la primera composición, comencé a resaltar las luces de sus ojos e intenté darle un trazo similar al efecto de neón. Luego, me enfoqué en destacar sus alas con el mismo color, como si fueran parte de la luz que se refleja en su cuerpo.
To begin filling in the cover, I added the title with a neat font. At the edges, I used the smudge tool to blur and stretch, adding a white glow to draw attention. The background was generated in black and white to make the main figure stand out.
At the bottom, I included its lore as additional descriptive and filler content.
Para empezar a completar la portada, añadí el título con una fuente elegante. En los extremos, utilicé la herramienta dedo para difuminar y estirar, y le añadí un resplandor blanco para atraer la atención visual. El fondo fue generado en blanco y negro para resaltar la figura principal.
En la parte inferior, incluí su historia (LORE) como una descripción adicional y de relleno.
If you observe the outline of its wings, I added that green on a uniform color layer and inverted the layer to highlight those edges, achieving the desired effect.
Si observan el contorno de sus alas, añadí ese verde en una capa de color uniforme e invertí la capa para resaltar esos bordes, creando así el efecto deseado.
I managed to create a noise texture to give the cover a slightly worn look and a bag texture to complement the reflection of the moon. Thus, I finish the design. I hope you liked it and I keep practising to improve. See you in the next publication, hugs!
