I never thought, I could ever see some unique #DIY items made at home from the little kids at home. It is always joyful when the kids bring something new and exciting on the table. They always worked on school assignment and other project. But this time they surprised me with a nice looking stationary stand from a disposable spices box. It certainly took me with surprise.
As the smiley on it give a little nice smile on my face too. This double decker pen and pencil stand is made up of used spices box. We usually throw them in dustbin, but this time the kids effort does surprises me. What more surprising was this is the brainchild effort of a 9 year old kid. The kid has very sharp mind and never took any #DIY lesson, still she came up with this peice if #DIY work.

Watching kids to grow with such artwork is alwsys a proud moment. India is known for spices and those spices were packed in these carton paper boxes. They are bit hard packaging done to prevent any spoilage of the spices. We generally threw these boxes into dustbin after emptying the spices in kitchen utensil. The kids does some out of the box thinking and implied some thought to showcase their talent. How they did it, was kept in the wrap but looking at it, will surely give you an idea of the effort put into it in the making.
What I noticed in the making of these cute stationary stand were rhe white paper and some pencil colors. The stand was made by wrapping and covering outer portion with white piece of paper. To make it look double decker, two boxes were pasted one upon the other. One box was cut short to give a decent look. Then they drw those #smiley. Each of them were hand drawn, by making circles and coloring them with pencils and then drawing the eyes and lips and noses.
Honestly, I am not even aware of aall chooses muley, but they know how each smiley respond. This is what makes the #DIY box more attractive. At first appear to be a printed paper, but on closer observation the actual manual effort can be seen. Having two sizes attached together, allow to keep two different items on the #DIY stand. It was indeed a work of the master, but again, it was done by mere 9 years old.
I really find them priceless to own them, although those were the kids property and I really appreciate the effort and idea they bring on the table. They make my day, with efforts and thought process.
In good faith - Peace!!
