A couple months ago I got a PlayStation three and I've been obsessed with it ever since. A PlayStation four would have been ideal, but the price is pretty steep and my budget cannot accommodate that at the moment, so I settled for three. I've enjoyed playing it since but due to my frequent usage of the controllers and plus I'm a football lover, I play a lot of football on it, hence the buttons started to get stuck. The 'X' button when pressed down would get stuck in and would affect my gaming experience. So I decided to take matters into my own hands and fix it myself.

If you look closely at the photo above, you'd see the 'X' button stuck in and the rest are not.

What do you need?
If you ever find yourself in this situation gamers, you'd need;
A screwdriver tool kit - I don't know the exact tip but I got the whole set online after some research and the star format fits
Another game pad that you probably don't use again

First things first, unscrewing the pads. There's usually about five screws two on both sides, top and bottom and then one in the middle. Remember to keep the screws safe so you can recover it and screw back.

Next up, gently take out the round buttons from the controllers. Now this can be tricky as sometimes you might not get the exact same one like me, but I was able to improvise and get it in.

Finally, you screw back the screws in and then voila, your controller is fixed. Not a very clean work, but it gets the job then and I'm set now. I might still need to get a new one soon though. Thank you for reading. I hope you learned how to fix your controllers now. Till next time. Cheers.
