북한산 의상봉(Uisangbong Peak in Bukhansan Mountain)
Among the peaks located in Bukhansan National Park, the most difficult and considered the highlight of Bukhansan Mountain is the Uisang Ridge.
Uisangbong Peak (502m) is the peak that becomes the first starting point for this Uisang Ridge. Uisang Ridge starts from Uisangbong Peak to Yongchulbong Peak, Yonghyeolbong Peak, Jeungchwibong Peak in the south.It runs from Nawolbong Peak to Nahanbong Peak to Munsubong Peak.
The name of the peak comes from the fact that it was the place where the high priest of Silla, Uisu, stayed.
