Hi everyone, it's me again back in the Afri-Tunes community to share My thoughts on an initiative created by the Afri-Inleo, and it's the 47th of its kind. The topic of this initiative is understanding music consumption patterns. Well, to start with, this topic has some keys to notes, which I would try to split out one after the other. So now the first one is, What is music? In my own language, I would say music is a sound or a melody that we listen to that creates either joy, happiness, or sadness in us. This can either be in different form depending on the occasion at the moment.
Music consumption pattern is simply a way or manner in which you listen to music, or you perceive or hear music. As you know, there are different versions or genres of music, and each genre Connote each occasion, which day I used for. Some music can be used for solemn moments; some can be used for happy movements, which is the one we called the jamboree. The way and manner in which you consume music depends on your taste and what you want to use it for.
Now to the topic proper. Understanding music consumption pattern: This is just a way in which you try to understand the music you want to listen to and why you are listening to that music at that particular time. Does it really suit the moment, and does it really pass the message that you want it to pass as at that time? Most of the time, many people listen to music just listening to it for the sake of listening alone, but they really do not understand that music is just more than just hearing it on because it passes in message to you when you're listening to it.

Aside from the fact that some are listening to music for the fun parts of it, other people are listening to it, and they try to interpret the message that the song is sending to them as at that moment they are listening to it. It is said that when you are sad, you are listening to music, but when you are happy, you listen to songs, and this is because when you are happy, you are really to care about the lyrics of the song but just the melody, which is giving you that joy you wanted.
But then you are sad. You are able to listen to the music passionately there by allowing you to understand every lyric of the song, and by then you wouldn't just be listening to music alone because you are really understanding the message that it is passing. There is some music that soothes sometime, and when you listen to that music when it does not soothe, it becomes a noise. That is why you can as well be listening to a good song and also be producing noise with it at the same time.

Music is a good thing that can heal the soul and body, but it really needs to be done at the right time, and one must make sure that's he or she understands the music consumption pattern and not just listening to music in because every piece of music that is created as a message, and also it doesn't have a meaning that it is passing across. Your ability to understand music consumption patterns lies with you. Think well before you choose your choice of music.
