I'm sorry I have been so absent here on Hive this past week. It hasn't only been on Hive, it's been pretty much everywhere that I've been missing in action as I've been trying to beat COVID round two. Probably more aptly named COVID Back with a Vengeance, or maybe COVID Second Blood. I've been struggling to get the energy to get this post put together, but I'm giving it my best shot.
It's Saturday meaning it's my day to focus more on the markets. To completely honest, I haven't been paying attention much this week. So it looks like I'll be playing some catch up ball.
Bitcoin seems to have found it's comfort zone between $100,000 and $110,000 and I expect it will be staying there for some time. Unless we see a very big push in buying to test new highs, we may just have to get used to it. I'm not complaining, it sure beats $30K!
Pretty remarkable how similar the charts are this past week between Hive and BTC. The big difference is at the trailing end Hive seems to be on a slow downslide rather than holding those gains. I've noticed that a lot lately, and makes for some cheap Hive to increase your HP!

Next up is my Saturday Savers portion of the post where I analyze my weekly progress toward my goals in Hive Power and second layer tokens.
Hive Power
This year's primary goal is to reach 10,000 staked HP. I'm getting closer to the prize each week!
Current HP: 9,403 (94% complete)
Goal HP: 10,000
I increased my HP by 203 this week, in part because of HPUD where I powered up 50 Hive. So, doing some quick math, if I continue at this rate I should hit 10,000 in three to four weeks. It would have been significantly sooner had I not been down sick for a week... Oh well, such is life!

It always feels great to have met a goal, and I've finished four so far this year and that HP is getting ever so close as well!
PIMP
My secondary goal of the year. It's a great token that is backed by both BTC and physical silver. I'm slowly heading for 100K!

I do have some PIMP in liquidity pools as well, but that's not included in the numbers above.
LEO
I'm happy that I finished this one before the prices jumped on LEO. The token model is becoming deflationary, whereas before it was inflationary, which is resulting in surging prices. I'll keep earning what I can from posting and save them for the monthly power up day.

PIZZA
This was nice to finish up, it's a goal I had in the back of my mind until I got a great swap deal. I get 15 tips a day to use as a bonus and occasionally a curation as well!

DUO
Coming up on a year ago now, I started a token project with @bulliontools and @bitcoinman called DUO token. If you stake 200 DUO you receive daily Hive dividends and a curation on your quality posts once a day as well. For those who stake 500 or more you are able to tip someone else's post with some DUO, in return you receive the same amount of the tip in your account as well.

EDSI
I've made some significant strategy shifts in this category. I've bought several more, but I've also delegated 2500 HP the @eds-vote . To get maximal rewards I made the decision, plus it pays out some EDS tokens as well so my stack will continue to build. I should make this goal much more easily now!

The team that created this token have a strong history of success and stability. Plus you get liquid Hive dividends once you hold more that 100!
PAKX
I really like this project, and it's one I only recently discovered. The token is expensive but each token is backed by actual Hive. It offers daily liquid Hive dividends once you hold more than ten. It also gives you the ability to tip and receive curations on your quality posts as well. I really like this one! But a word of warning, it is relatively expensive as the supply is very, very limited. I increased my holdings by 16.8 this past week, and I'm delegating HP to @pakx in order to earn more tokens.

CCD
I am continuing to hold onto my staked CCD as it gives me two free HSBI units a week because I hold over 500K. Those with one million get a free HSBI daily, I do plan to get there but I'm not sticking to any schedule right now. I do delegate HP to earn free CCD tokens as well.
CCD current: 530,000 roughly
No changes in my position here, I continue to delegate to @cryptocompany and earn daily CCD. Eventually I may make it the the million mark for the daily HSBI! @powerpaul is busy building some new functions for the project. I have clickable banner at the bottom of my post if you want more info on the project.
Silver and Gold
The precious metals are still continuing to show a lot of strength. One in particular is platinum up more than 40% in a month! But today I'm focusing on good old silver and gold. Both have a huge upside potential by the end of the year. I expect to see silver over $40 per Troy ounce and gold over $4,000 per Troy ounce.
As you can see in the charts below over the last five days both have performed very strongly. This next week could be very interesting in the metals markets!

I like to share a great deal on silver or gold I find, usually on APMEX. Today is no exception with a very cool random date Australian Kangaroo!

You can pick these up as low as $39.18 as of the time of writing (regularly $41.68) each which is a great deal on Australian silver. Plus, at APMEX they are offering a free 1/2 Florida Goldback with each order. I won't ever say no to a free Goldback! Sadly, this week I won't be buying. Not working for a week has put a dent in my income. Hopefully I will be back to 100% (I'll even take 50%) health wise this next week! But a great deal for one of you?
