Today is a pretty special day since 3 years ago was the birth of Hive. Not only a blogging platform where you come to post content, it is a whole network that allows you to meet a lot of people with different tastes and at the same time share yours in the different communities that exist here.
The way in which Hive was born was quite curious since it was not a simple "let's create this project". Hive was the result of a hard-fought battle against an individual and incredibly it was the first blockchain to demonstrate with facts that community is what makes project progress, and not simply funding.

The image I showed you above was one of the most epic moments in that whole battle since the community321 account would be an account where the people from steemit.com would transfer the stolen funds from some whales (because yes, they modified the balances of some accounts, they even censored others, and at the same time they also restricted some whales from transferring their money freely... lol). To do this, they made a public announcement where they said they would transfer all these funds to the account @community321.
Apparently, we had Robin Hood on our side, since when they transferred the money some masked hero transferred the funds to the "Bittrex" exchange account saying that they were stolen funds XD, a complete fail and also a demonstration of how inefficient and useless people are who believe that with money they can do everything.
By that time I was relatively active on the OCD server
I don't want you to think that Hive was born just because, in reality, Hive is the representation of a giant struggle. I still remember how users like @theycallmedan were among the most influential investors that promoted us to move to Hive, trusting totally in the community and that all his investment would prosper not because the project "lived", but because he cared about integrating into the community and seeing how the real value was in the people that made Steem what it is: A giant and amazing community.
Hive is what Steem was in its best moments, there are a lot of users with dreams, and there has been giant progress since then, do you even know how hard it was to get votes by that time? Prior to those years, there weren't even communities and curators had to discover content through tags, so imagine how uncomfortable it was.

For those people who made the right decision and moved to Hive along with us, let me tell you that you are part of creating the amazing community we are now. And to those people who stuck with Steemit, eat shit.

Hoy es un día bastante especial, puesto que hace 3 años fue el nacimiento de Hive. No solamente una plataforma de blogging donde vienes a depositar contenido, es toda una red que te permite conocer a un montón de personas con distintos gustos y al mismo tiempo compartir los tuyos en las distintas comunidades que existen por aquí.
La forma en la que nació Hive fue bastante curiosa, puesto que no fue un simplemente "creemos este proyecto". Hive fue el resultado de una ardúa batalla contra un individuo e increíblemente fue la primera blockchain que demostró con hechos que la comunidad es lo que hace progresar a un proyecto, y no simplemente el financiamiento.

La imagen que les mostré arriba fue uno de los momentos más épicos que hubieron en toda esa batalla, puesto que la cuenta community321 sería una cuenta donde las personas de steemit.com transferirían los fondos robados de unas ballenas (porque sí, modificaron los saldos de algunas cuentas, llegaron a censurar otras, y al mismo tiempo también restringieron que algunas ballenas pudieran transferir su dinero libremente.. lol). Para hacer esto, habían hecho un anuncio público donde decían que transferirían todos estos fondos a la cuenta @community321.
Al parecer, teníamos a Robin Hood en nuestro bando, puesto que cuando transfirieron el dinero algún héroe enmascarado transfirió los fondos a la cuenta del exchange "Bittrex" diciendo que eran fondos robados XD, todo un fail y también una demostración de lo ineficiente e inútiles que son las personas que creen que con el dinero pueden hacer todo.

No quiero que crean que Hive simplemente nació porque sí, en realidad, Hive es la representación de una lucha gigante. Aún recuerdo como usuarios como @theycallmedan fueron de los inversores más influyentes que promovieron que nos moviéramos a Hive, confiando totalmente en la comunidad y en que toda su inversión prosperaría no porque el proyecto "viviera", sino que él se preocupó en integrarse en la comunidad y ver cómo el verdadero valor estaba en las personas que hacían de Steem lo que es: Una comunidad gigante e increíble.
Hive es lo que fue Steem en sus mejores momentos, hay un montón de usuarios con sueños, ha habido un progreso gigante desde entonces, ¿siquiera saben lo difícil que era conseguir votos para ese momento? Anterior a esos años ni siquiera existían las comunidades y los curadores tenían que descubrir el contenido mediante tags, así que imaginense lo incómodo que era.

Para esas personas que tomaron la decisión correcta y se mudaron a Hive junto a nosotros, déjenme decirles que eres parte de haber creado a la increíble comunidad que somos ahora. Y para esas personas que se quedaron con Steemit, coman mierda.
