It's Leo Power Up Day! I'm excited because this is my first time participating in LPUD. But first, let me discuss my dreams.
I've always been a dreamer. Most times I dream of achieving things so big, I begin to doubt if it's possible to achieve them. I've had so many dreams, some have been achieved, but many more haven't.
When I was a little boy, I wanted to be an electronics engineer. Don't laugh, it was a cartoon that had an influence on me having this dream. I was a big fan of cartoons at that age. There was literally no cartoon I didn't know about, so it influenced my dream to become an electronics engineer. Another thing that sparked my desire to become an electronics engineer was my love for gadgets.
Gadgets were my favorite things. No matter the kind of gadget, I always found a way to operate it. It came naturally to me. I just loved playing with gadgets and I couldn't stay away from gadgets. With time, I wanted to be able to make cool electronic gadgets by myself. I was fascinated by how they work.
As I grew into a teenager, my dream changed. This time, I wanted to become a healthcare professional. I never imagined that I would go into healthcare, but the future had other plans. Gradually, I developed a love for healthcare and I eventually went for physiotherapy.
Today I am a physiotherapist. This is the dream that replaced my dream of being an electronics engineer. Perhaps being an electronics engineer was a childhood desire that faded as I grew older. It took me a lot of hard work to get my degree in physiotherapy, but it's one of the things I'm really proud of. It's a constant reminder to me that dreams come true.
I have other dreams that are yet to be achieved. One of such dreams is working for an international agency like the United Nations or the World Health Organization. I believe that through these agencies, I can have a massive impact on the lives of those who need help.
Another dream I've always had is to visit space.
I've been fascinated with space for some while now. I would love to see the earth from the vacuum of space. I want to witness, with my own eyes, the void in space. I want to feel the weightlessness that comes with being in space. Generally, I want to appreciate what is out there, beyond the planet we live in. In addition, I want to visit a space station and witness the wonderful things there.
So, those are my dreams. Hopefully, I get to achieve as much as I can.
Now, for LPUD!
So it's my first time participating in the Leo Power up day. I've seen people post about it, but I never really understood it. Recently I took my time to learn about it. I got to realize that LPUD is slated for the 15th of every month. I love the initiative and I decided to participate this time.
As you can see, I only had 5.24 LEO available, but that didn't stop me. I decided to power up 5 LEO.
I intend to be consistent with powering up LEO. So I'm definitely going to be intentional about accumulating as much LEO as I can, so that by the next power up day, I will be powering up much more LEO than that of today. Already looking forward to the next power up day!
