The beginning of these posts was my My Life Just Hit a Brick Wall at High Velocity, on the Cusp of My 50th Birthday: Mid Life Crisis 101 post. I link that post because I want to give my readers some useful context for what I write in these posts.
Warm greetings all! 🙏 💚
I'm starting this post quite a bit earlier than usual, as I worked quite a lot earlier, and I'm bloody tired, not only from the work, but also because I'm still not sleeping well at all. So I'm sitting up here at the Flow House, relaxing, catching up on Hive, and beginning this post.
My morning ritual of superfood fire coffee and doing my morning Hive post had do he paused again because I went to a short morning check-in and logistics meeting. Fiona asked me if I could show her the plants that she was going to be planting today in the fenced-in garden next to Kana's house. So after the meeting I walked with Fiona down to the front of Ano's nursery to show her which plants needed planting. We also took a walk through the garden. This was the first time I've been in the garden since I left GaiaYoga five months and and seventeen days ago. I was happy to see that some of the important plants that I had planted were still there and growing well, as well as saddened to see that other important plants were gone, buried in weeds. I have a lot of weeding and plant rescue to do, that is for sure.
I was also introducing Fiona to some of the significant plants still there. I also walked her over to the back of Ano's nursery, in the new section, where I have my plants, to show her some of what I had. She said that she'd really like to work with me in the garden, and learn about plants from me. That sounds very fun to me. 😁
After we had finally left the garden, I walked back up to the Flow House to enjoy the rest of my superfood fire coffee, and to finally do my Index4Index Daily Inspired Motivation: The Magic of Enthusiasm in Our Success post. My little gecko friends were there again, as they are most mornings. I love those little buggers!
After my morning Hive post was done and published, and my superfood fire coffee was finished, I wandered down from the Flow House to go do some work. Miria really wanted me to go play in the pool with her again, as usual. I told her I wanted to get some work done on the New nursery area in the back of Ano's nursery. She still walked around and hung out with me as I got a few things done. Ano was around that side of the property, and asked me if I wanted to do more work on the shadecloth over my plants, to secure it better. I was grateful for the help, so we ended up doing that, clearing more cane grass and Guinea grass (two giant, fast growing grasses), and putting up another shadecloth. We were working on that for a few hours, and we got a lot done, which felt wonderful. Mutually beneficial relationships are a really wonderful thing! Miria was there hanging out with us for most of the time, but later left with Fiona and one of the other women staying here, Valerie, to go to Mermaid Ponds, a lovely chain of tide pools nearby on Government Beaches Road.
After working so long with Ano putting up and securing shadecloth, I was both tired and hungry, so I went to the Landing to make myself some food and relax for a while. Before coming up here to the Flow House to stert this post, I also ended up helping Ano for a few minutes to troubleshoot an issue with truck, and I went to Tutu to get more water, as all the boiled water in the Landing had been used. While I was making my food, I boiled more water to refill the gallon drinking-water jars, so it was still hot. Ezra, the son of one of the women staying here, Jo, wanted to follow me around and hang out with me while I did most of those things.
I've definitely noticed that children and animals always seem to gravitate to me, which is both interesting and usually enjoyable, though it can feel somewhat overwhelming at times, especially when I am needing time alone, or when I'm focused on something like Hive.
Today, Tuesday the 18th would have been my one and a half year anniversary with Kaï, if we were still together. Today is also my ex-wife's birthday. I remember all sorts of things like this. I came back to GaiaYoga last Tuesday, so I've now been back for one week. It's crazy how fast time seems to go. I feel like I both just got back, and like I never left at all.
When I returned to GaiaYoga, I was a little worried that, because of all the things to do here, and all the various things and peoole that call my attention, that I wouldn't be able to keep up on Hive. I've actually been doing pretty well, surprisingly. I noticed today that I was still in the top 10 on the @ecency leaderboard, which was pretty cool indeed. I want a solid and stable balance between my life here, barefooted and naked in the jungle in an intentional community, and what I do on Hive. So far so good.
Now that the shadecloths are set up in the new section of Ano's nursery, for my plants, all I have to do is clean the groundcloth a bit more of weeds and debris, I'm just about ready to begin situating my plants in optimal locations for growth. I'm very happy and excited about doing this. Once I do, I'll have a place to move plants out of my old nursery behind the Landing, so that I can thoroughly weed and clean it. Once I do that, then that nursery space will be ready for plants too. I can't wait!
OK my dear friends, I think I'm ready to end this post for now. I'm finishing it when I'm usually starting it, which I rather appreciate. I love getting things done early. I hope that y'all enjoyed what I shared today, or at least found it interesting. My life is radically different from most people on earth, that is for sure. I love it though, and I couldn't imagine, not would I want to, live any other way. Have a sublimely sweet and beautiful evening! G'Night for now, and until more from the jungle tomorrow! 🙏💚⚡💥🔥👣🌱

Thank you all so much who have helped me get to where I am today, and allowing me to share more of the beauty and magic from my life and my world with you, and for your continuous appreciation and support! I am truly deeply grateful! 😁🙏💚
