Some of you know that I suffer from what was diagnosed as hereditary Neuropathy. In the past 12 years this illness has slowly destroyed my health. I have lost chunks of my eyesight, I have an arrhythmia, it affects my breathing, swallowing and rendered my hands and legs mostly numb; and best of all it leaves me with chronic pain laced with tremors and horrific intensified pain attacks. I used to dance and do martial arts this illness has taken this from me and it is progressively attacking my vocal range and dexterity of my hands. Because I live in America and was 9 months short of regular disability I am stuck with a 800$ stipend and medicare. Medicare will not pay for tests to determine which hereditary neuropathy I have, which means there is no real treatment. They throw medications at me to patch up the most dangerous symptoms and that is that.
Then came covid. I got it before it was known to the general public and was sick as a dog. After I recovered I suddenly had extreme issues regulating my blood pressure and I became diabetic, one of the known side effects of this damn virus so I am told. This further eroded my heath and is a consistent problem in my daily life now brining me to the hospital again and again.
a few weeks ago the seizure specialist my neurologist referred me to denied me for the 4 time because I am on medicaid, meanwhile my pain attacks are more frequent and longer, example my last that lasted 8 hours and had me crying and whimpering for most of it. The pain clinic won't see me because I need to renew my ID but I can't get a damn appointment to renew it and haven't been able to for the last 2 years.
Fact I am mostly on my own if I want to get better or at least offer my condition appropriate resistance. And this is what I decided to do my doctors are split in two groups those who want to help me but can't and those who don't give a fuck and wont because I do not pay them enough( or can't pay then enough to care). It is up to me at this point to fight this so I am going to self experiment but also am totally open to suggestions. There are somethings and supplements I cannot do because of the medications I am on and possible reactions as well as a myriad of allergies I am plagues with. I am also a militant vegan and not willing to budge from that so that is to be considered as well.
I have been vegan for the last 13 years, while it helped with some of the auto immune issues I became vegan for the animals so my nutrition was up to about 3 months a disaster. I ate what was cheap and fit into my mini budget. I did however always supplement with a vegan multivitamin which. kept me semi ok. When I first started losing my faculties I fell into deep depression and moved into the fridge , I gained an incredible amount of weight that i am finally also working to get rid of because a damaged heart does not need this on top of the rest. How much weightI am not really to talk about because I run risk into falling into old eating disorder patterns , but once I am ready I will document that as well.

So if you guys have another idea for the immune compromised and also to combat my nerve damage let me know other wise I am just going to keep researching. Am Looking into CBD for pain as well.
