I thought it was an interesting idea. I believe that over time and with feedback from people, it could be used by different curators. However, there are still gaps that I believe are not possible to calculate at the moment. However, I have no doubt that it will be possible in the near future, with the advancement of technology.
The quality or relevance of comments. A user can generate a high ER with superficial or spam comments. I believe that in the future we may have an AI, or something close to it, that can evaluate whether, for example, a comment made by a user on a post has anything to do with what was written in the post, or just a generic comment like "Congratulations on the post, I loved the topic."
I still haven't been able to understand why the multiplication factor in the ER formula is 2. There is a specific reason. Exact sciences are not my specialty.
Should we take into account other forms of engagement? Number of votes (both upvotes and downvotes), reblogs, views, and other interactions that may indicate interest and involvement with the content.
I'm glad to see that you've brought yet another tool to help us enrich our analysis. Just as a carpenter has several tools and doesn't use them all every day, I believe that as a curator, each new metric presented is a new tool that I can use to curate new content in some situation.
Thank you for your contribution.
