Today I come to share a delicious and refreshing fruit juice, ideal for staying hydrated these days of intense heat.

Hoy vengo a compartir un jugo de frutas delicioso y refrescante, ideal para mantenerse hidratado estos días de calor intenso.

I loved this juice, its flavor is light sweet and citrusy at the same time, it has all the freshness of the melon, the sweetness and acidity of the tangerine and the tropical citrus of the delicious passion fruit, an irresistible combination that made me want more, even though I drank a big glass by myself.

Este jugo me ha encantado, su sabor es dulce ligero y cítrico a la vez, tiene toda la frescura del melón, la dulzura y acidez de la mandarina y el cítrico tropical de la deliciosa maracuyá, una combinación irresistible que me hizo quedar con ganas de más, a pesar de que me bebí un vaso grande yo sola.

Ingredients for a large glass:

• 1 cup chopped melon.
• 1/4 cup passion fruit pulp.
• 1 sweet tangerine.
• Honey to taste.
• 1 cup of cold water.

Ingredientes para un vaso grande:

• 1 taza de melón picado.
• 1/4 taza de pulpa de maracuyá.
• 1 mandarina dulce.
• Miel al gusto.
• 1 taza de agua fría.

Preparation // Preparación:

Patiently, I removed the sweet part of the mandarin, segment by segment, with the help of a knife and my hands, I removed the seeds and used only the fleshy part of the fruit.

Con paciencia, extraje la parte dulce de la mandarina, gajo por gajo, con la ayuda de un cuchillo y mis manos, extraje las semillas y usé solo la parte carnosa de la fruta.

I blended the passion fruit together with the glass of water and strained.

Licué la maracuyá junto al vaso con agua y colé.

Once the passion fruit juice was obtained, I blended it with the mandarin pulp and the melon until the ingredients were well integrated.

Una vez que obtuve el jugo de maracuyá lo licué junto a la pulpa de mandarina y el melón, hasta que se integraron bien los ingredientes.

After a good blending the juice was ready to serve, its flavor was slightly citric, slightly sweet, for my taste very delicious, since the tangerine and melon were very sweet, however, I added a little bit of honey to taste to compensate the sweetness that is lost when adding water to the drink.

Después de una buena licuada el jugo estuvo listo para servir, su sabor quedó ligeramente cítrico, ligeramente dulce, para mi gusto muy delicioso, ya que la mandarina y el melón estaban muy dulces, sin embargo, agregué un poquito de miel al gusto para compensar la dulzura que se pierde al agregar agua a la bebida.

I enjoyed this drink in a little while I was alone, after chilling it very well for a few minutes in the freezer. I needed to refresh, hydrate, rest a little and relax.

Esta bebida me la disfruté en un ratito que estuve a solas, luego de enfriarla muy bien unos minutos en el congelador. Necesitaba refrescarme, hidratarme, descansar un poco y relajarme.
