If I should ask, “Why do you want to succeed in life?” What would be your answer?
I know you’re going to say a lot of things that might not necessarily be bad but yet, not captivating enough.
I feel that the reason why we play down our chances of success is that we don’t have a compelling reason why we must succeed in the first place.
You’ll agree with me that success means different things to different people.
For me, success might be building a multi-million-dollar business. For you, it might be something else. However, have you ever thought about the one major reason why you ought to succeed no matter what?
If you haven’t, then this is it.
YOU ARE THE WAY
The reason why you ought to succeed at any cost is that “you are the way.” I can confidently tell you that this single reason trumps every other reason you have, and I will tell you why.
Before now, I have always thought about my dreams, my comfort, and everything that pertains to my well-being as the sole reason why I need to succeed in life, but my H.S.E (Health, Safety, and Environment) supervisor broadened my perception when he made this statement in one of his lectures to us.
He said, “Not until you find a way, others will remain lost.”
That single statement has stuck in my head up till this moment, and I have tried to make sense of it. I think I did.
The liberation of friends, family, loved ones, and humanity literally depends on your success. This is no joke.
Nelson Mandela's success paved the way for the liberation of a whole nation. Martin Luther King Jr. succeeded in his quest, and that alone brought hope to African-Americans in the United States.
Above all, the success of Jesus Christ brought salvation to mankind. As I said earlier, success differs from individual to individual, and your own version of success is peculiar to you.
But you must know that you hold the keys to the breakthroughs of others. Remember that, “not until you find a way, others will stay lost.” Your success is a must at all costs, no matter what.
There is no one else. YOU ARE THE WAY.
You have greatness within you; always remember that.
Thanks a million.
