Hi HODLers, Lions and Cubs,
This has been a post I have been wanting to write for at least a month. Even if I have been personally involved in the Leofinance ecosystem for more than a year but I still have a lot of questions and some are quite important for any newcomer.
NDLR: These are open questions aimed to make this ecosystem grow. If anything seems like a criticism, I would like you to know it was not my intention.
Why asking now?
Well, it has been at least 2-3 months that I wanted to make a comprehensive leofinance.io video to explain to newcomers the ecosystem and how they can earn through posting, curating, delegating, etc... but I have struggled to find core information and it seems even some core members I have asked couldn't also answer them ; I hope this post will help me to get them.
LEO Tokenomics
As far as I know, I have no idea what the LEO yearly inflation rate is. I understand that LEO creating comes from multiple sources:
- LEO Miners (LEOM & LEOMM)
- Traditional inflation aimed at rewarding posting and curating
- Delegation of HP to @leo.voter (APY of c.15% paid in LEO)
- ETH-wLEO Geyser/LP rewards
If you think of anything else, please add it in the comment section.
Adding all these inflation sources for the LEO token would give us a broad estimate of the yearly LEO inflation.
Posting Leofinance articles with privaposting key
As many of you know I run the @hodlcommunity curation initiative. We are 5 active curators and aim to do a daily Leofinance curation report. Therefore, I have been sharing the account's private posting key to the team in order for them to be flexible in posting their curation digest.
Nevertheless, two of our curators who happen to have iOS phones (and no laptop) cannot access the Leofinance's account with the keychain login app. It would be possible with hivesigner, but it would require the active key which I prefer not to share for security reasons.
We tried login to Keychain and browsing from the dapp to the leofinance.io without much success either.

Future ProjectBlank airdrop/claimdrop
This is more of a personal question but I remember @khaleelkazi mentioning that LEOM and LEOMM would be considered for the future airdrop. I understand that this is not planned for the near future but it would be nice to have a confirmation on that front.
$CUB burning
As PolyCub is almost there, I have always wondered about $CUB burns as I always thought they would be done either daily (with the Kingdoms' 10% tax) or even weekly.
Is there any plan to automate this as for newcomers after reading about the burning process it can be kind of scary to not see the amount of $CUB burned go up for days, weeks before one is actually done.
