This IPO could happen as early as by the end of 2022 but most likely bin 2023. Plans could change of course, especially depending on how Crypto and Financial markets perform over the next 12 months.
Even if I never actually used it, it is referenced as one of the biggest crypto exchanges in the world.
Valuation sits at close to $14 billion in a recent Series D last month. This round was led by Lightspeed Venture Partners, with "major participation" from Baillie Gifford.
As a reference point, Coinbase is currently valued at $33bn.
They have been doing very interesting things recently. They seem to diversify as an asset management service aimed at institutional and high net worth investors, in partnership with Altis Partners.
Exciting right? Any new player is good for the overall ecosystem as I strongly believe in competition!
