You might start to think that I love chaos and markets going down... Well... You might be right but this is not the point. If I keep posting about mostly negative things, it is because we are not out of the woods yet.
Tech layoffs
Tech has been the sector that thrived over the past 20 years and the space where extravagance was probably at the highest level.
Most FANGS have been freezing hires and are now contemplating layoffs as a way to be agile and cut costs rapidly in a ever more dooming economic environement.
As you can see, the aggregate of people being laidoff by Tech companies is still very small but the trend is clear and should only increase going forward.
As people are harrassed by medias about inflation, the economy and a possible recession; they adapt their spending habits which decrease the overall demand and leads to more workers being fired!
When to Buy?
The time to Buy will be at the gloomest moment, when it will feel like Crypto is dead or the economy will not recover.
Watch out also for the FED or ECB. When they will stop raising interest rates: You should buy!
I am inherently short on the Stock an Crypto markets until September, I will reevaluate by then.
Nevertheless, there will be opportunities to get great assets!
I strongly believe in Blockchain Gaming for example and I believe ImmutableX (leading platform) will be the go to place in the GameFi space! Therefore, I have been buying $IMX tokens regularly. And yesterday, they just announced they will implement staking!
