Hi Hiveans and HODLers,
If you are over there on HIVE, you know that Justin Sun is the closest thing to a con-artist we got. I honestly still do not understand how he managed to accumulate such a wealth.
He barely understood Steem and Steemit when he took over and acted like a 5 year-old. Finally we fortunately forked the protocol and even if during the first 6-7 months, we were head to head in terms of MarketCap Ranking. Today, there is no doubt that innovation is on HIVE and the most value is over here.
Why do I talk about that?
Because for the past few days, I keep seeing stupid shit from him over the internet.
It started with his lame comment on the Ukrainian Twitter Post:
While I got his point, it was neither the time or place to do so. He later deleted the tweet as he (maybe) realized how childish it was.
In the end, as far as I understood, no one got an airdrop.
Today, he posted this message on his Chinese account
“In a video call with Russia’s [World Trade Organization] Ambassador Dmitry Lyakishev, we discussed how technology could be used for humanitarian cases for Russia’s development, such as the use of blockchain tech to help citizens that don’t have access to the financial system. Hope to strengthen future cooperation with Russia!”
After becoming a Grenada citizen and its permanent WTO representative, he is now tip-toeing into the political world.
I wish him the best of luck (sarcasm) and I hope we will not have such crypto figures in the future.
Also, I have to say he did send some personal funds to Ukraine.
