Hello HODLers and Summoners,
First of all, writing this post kind of hurts me as I made the stupid move to sell 3/4 of my collection a few months back when prices went up 30-40%. I should have HODL my collection and I would probably be rich now...
I sold most of my collection for $2k. As I estimated it considering the SPS airdrop and selling the same account of cards. I could have had close to $100-200k.
I could have been this guy name Sinistry.
Instead I have gained some money but nothing life changing. Well, this is better than playing CandyCrush anyways hehe.
Now that my rant is over, let's dive into Splinterlands.
Splinterlands is on iOS
It might have been there for a while but while going to the AppStore to update some apps, there was a recommended for you app and guess which one it was: Splinterlands.

This is just amazing growth, completely parabolic !
I have been there since day 1 and the UI and cards made it very interesting. It has been getting more beautiful day by day.
The artwork is just great. Lands are coming to add an element to the gameplay.
So I am continuing to play with what is left of my cards (still worth 1.2k+). I am just at a lower rank and it is hard ot get back where I use to battle in Champions !
But I enjoy it and this is the most important.
Rental Market kickstarted this bullrun
If you did not know, rental market as always been there through peakmonster or other 3rd party platforms.
But since it was added to the splinterlands.io it has changed the way users considered their cards. They became interest generated assets; at the frontier between crypto, gaming and DeFi !

It seems this is a French financial expression but it means that despite growing, trees do not ever reach the sky.
Speculation and profits do end, therefore I would caution anyone to jump in and invest a ton of USD into the game right now. There is clearly an hyperinflation on cards.
This is due to an inflow of new players following huge dollar gains in some other CryptoGames such as Axie infinity. As I acnkowledge this could go on for a while, be cautious.
