AETHRA – The Traitors’ Incursion
In the floating city of Aethra, an architectural jewel suspended above the clouds, Solis Vay, the Grand Architect, stood on his private balcony. The gentle winds brushed against his austere face as he gazed upon the majesty of his city. For generations, Aethra had been the heart of decision-making, the beacon of balance and reason. But today, that balance was teetering.
The SECRET had infiltrated Aethra’s markets, corrupting trade and breeding mistrust among the guilds and advisors. Solis felt the weight of this threat, like a growing shadow looming over everything he had built.
He turned back inside his palace, a structure of glass and steel that seemed to defy gravity itself. In the Grand Council Chamber, Aethra’s most influential members awaited him, their expressions grim.
— "The SECRET has become a poison in our economy," a councilwoman declared, her dark-rimmed eyes betraying sleepless nights. "Our merchants use it more than our own celestial currency. They claim it brings prosperity, but at what cost?"
— "Rumors speak of a black market controlled from the shadows," added another advisor, a stern-faced man with a gravelly voice. "Smugglers, spies—perhaps even members of our own ranks—are profiting from it."
— "We must ban it," a third councilor declared, slamming his fist on the table. "Before it’s too late."
Solis listened in silence, his piercing gaze sweeping the room. He noticed the darting glances, the trembling hands, the pauses that stretched too long. A strange tension hung in the air, as if everyone was holding their breath, waiting for something to break.
And then, everything did.
One of the councilors, a middle-aged man whose face had once been loyal, suddenly stood. In his hand, an energy dart glowed, aimed directly at Solis.
— "The era of the old powers is over," he declared with a twisted smile, his voice charged with unsettling fervor. "The future belongs to those who wield the SECRET."

— Nous devons l’interdire, trancha un troisième, frappant la table de son poing. Avant qu’il ne soit trop tard.
Solis écoutait en silence, ses yeux perçants balayant la salle. Il remarqua les regards fuyants, les mains qui tremblaient, les silences trop longs. Une tension étrange planait dans l’air, comme si chacun retenait son souffle, attendant que quelque chose éclate.
Puis, tout bascula.
L’un des conseillers, un homme d’âge moyen au visage autrefois loyal, se leva brusquement. Dans sa main, un dard énergétique scintillait, pointé directement vers Solis.
— L’ère des anciens pouvoirs est révolue, déclara-t-il avec un sourire tordu, sa voix chargée d’une ferveur inquiétante. L’avenir appartient à ceux qui détiennent le SECRET.
Solis réagit instantanément. D’un geste vif, il activa un champ de gravité intégré à son bracelet de commande. Le traître fut propulsé contre le mur, son arme tombant de ses mains. Mais avant que Solis ne puisse reprendre le contrôle de la situation, d’autres conseillers se levèrent, leurs yeux brillant d’une lueur étrange.
— Vous ne comprenez pas, Solis, lança une femme, autrefois une alliée de confiance. Le SECRET n’est pas une menace. C’est une opportunité. Une chance de remodeler le monde selon une vision nouvelle.
— Vous êtes aveuglé par votre attachement au passé, ajouta un autre, dégainant à son tour une arme.
La salle sombra dans le chaos. Les gardes, fidèles à Solis, se précipitèrent pour protéger leur dirigeant, mais les traîtres étaient nombreux et bien préparés. Les champs de gravité se heurtèrent, les armes énergétiques crépitèrent, et les cris résonnèrent dans les couloirs du palais.
Solis, bien que pris au dépourvu, garda son calme. Il savait que cette rébellion n’était qu’un symptôme d’un mal bien plus profond. Le SECRET avait infiltré les esprits, corrompu les cœurs, et transformé ses plus proches alliés en ennemis.
Alors que les combats faisaient rage, Solis activa un dispositif secret, déclenchant un verrouillage complet du palais. Les portes se scellèrent, les boucliers énergétiques s’activèrent, et les traîtres se retrouvèrent piégés.
— Vous avez oublié une chose, déclara Solis, sa voix portant au-dessus du tumulte. Aethra est ma création. Et je ne laisserai pas une ombre la détruire.
Mais même alors, une question persistait dans son esprit : combien d’autres avaient succombé à l’influence du SECRET ? Combien de traîtres se cachaient encore dans l’ombre, attendant leur moment pour frapper ?
