I have no doubt that the Going to the Distance rule is one of the ones I hate the most in Splinterlands, because I don't really like using ranged attack cards in my battles since most of them are useless when they are in the first position.
My hatred for the Going to the Distance rule increases even more when the amount of mana available is low, but I think I can find a great strategy for this type of battle and in it I use the dragon deck and the water deck.

This battle would be a perfect example of when this rule is not in my favor and although I have a somewhat high win rate in it, I always try to innovate with new strategies to find out which would be the best for this type of battle (Going to the Distance Rule + Low Mana Available).
My favorite summoner for this type of battle is Quix the Devious, he is perfect for it because he only costs 4 mana and he will decrease the ranged attack and speed of my opponent's monsters by -1.
Since I am using the dragon deck, I can select another deck to use and in the Going to the Distance rule, my favorite is the water deck because it has great combinations of cards for this battle.
I usually use the Wave Brood because it is one of the best choices for this type of battle since it has a lot of health and the Close Range and Return Fire abilities, but I decided to test other cards to see how they would perform in the battle.
For this battle I selected the following monsters:
The Angelic Mandarin will be my monster protecting the first position, it does not have the Close Range ability so it will not be able to attack in this position but it does have the Triage ability which will be very useful to heal my monsters in the backline.
Igor Darkspear is also a great choice because it only costs 2 mana and has the Stun ability, which means it has a 50% chance of applying Stun to the monster it attacks, and Stunned monsters are unable to attack or use any abilities for 1 round.
Naga Assassin is also another great choice because it only costs 2 mana and will increase the speed of my monsters by +1 with its Swiftness ability. It also has the Backfire ability, which will be very useful for dealing extra damage to my opponent's monsters when dodging attacks.
Kulu Swimhunter is my main source of damage in this battle. It doesn't have any abilities, but it is very useful when it comes to dealing damage.
Tower Griffin is one of my monsters with the least attack in the battle, but its main function is not to deal damage, but rather its Protect ability, which will grant +2 armor to all my monsters.
Scale Doctor is another of my monsters that has little attack, but its main function is also in its abilities. The Scale Doctor will increase my monsters' health by +1 with his Strengthen ability, decrease enemy monsters' armor by -2 with his Rust ability, heal my backline monsters with his Triage ability, and repair my monsters' armor with his Repair ability.
This battle was a test and I have to admit that it went better than I expected because I fought against an opponent who used one of my old strategies and in the end I managed to beat him.
Although this is a great strategy for this type of battle, I feel like something is still missing because it wasn't an easy battle to win and I ended up depending a bit on luck because of the Stun ability, for this reason I feel like I haven't found the ideal strategy for this type of battle yet and I intend to make some changes in the next battles I have with this rule and with little mana available.

Eu não tenho a menor dúvida que a regra Going to the Distance é uma das que mais odeio em Splinterlands, isso porque eu não gosto muito de utilizar cartas com ataque ranged nas minhas batalhas já que a maioria delas fica inútil quando esta na primeira posição.
Meu ódio pela regra Going to the Distance aumenta ainda mais quando a quantidade de mana disponível é baixa, mas acho que conseguir achar uma ótima estratégia para esse tipo de batalha e nela eu utilizo o deck de dragão e o deck de água.

Essa batalha seria um exemplo perfeito de quando essa regra não esta ao meu favor e apesar de eu ter uma taxa de vitória um pouco alta nela, eu sempre tento inovar com novas estratégias para descobrir qual seria a melhor para esse tipo de batalha (Regra Going to the Distance + Pouca Mana Disponível).
O Meu summoner favorito para esse tipo de batalha é o Quix the Devious, ele é perfeito para ela porque custa apenas 4 de mana e ele vai diminuir em -1 o ataque ranged e a velocidade dos monstros do meu adversário.
Como estou utilizando o deck de dragão então posso selecionar outro deck para ser utilizado e na regra Going to the Distance, o meu favorito é o deck de água porque ele tem ótimas combinações de cartas para essa batalha.
Normalmente eu utilizo o Wave Brood porque ele é uma das melhores escolhas para esse tipo de batalha já que possui muita vida e as habilidades Close Range e Return Fire, mas decidi testar outras cartas para ver como elas se sairiam na batalha.
Nessa batalha eu selecionei os seguintes monstros:
O Angelic Mandarin vai ser o meu monstro protegendo a primeira posição, ele não possui a habilidade Close Range então não será capaz de atacar nessa posição mas possui a habilidade Triage que vai ser muito útil para curar os meus monstros na backline.
O Igor Darkspear também é uma ótima escolha porque custa apenas 2 de mana e ele possui a habilidade Stun, isso significa que ele tem 50% de aplicar Stunned no monstro que atacar e monstros Stunned são incapazes de atacar ou usar qualquer habilidade durante 1 round.
A Naga Assassin também é outra ótima escolha porque custa apenas 2 de mana e ela vai aumentar a velocidade dos meus monstros em +1 com sua habilidade Swiftness, além disso ela possui a habilidade Backfire que vai ser muito útil para ela causar dano extra aos monstros do meu adversário quando se esquivar dos ataques.
O Kulu Swimhunter é a minha principal fonte de dano nessa batalha, ele não possui nenhuma habilidade mas é muito útil quando o assunto é causar dano.
O Tower Griffin é um dos meus monstros com menos ataque na batalha, mas sua função principal não é causar dano e sim a sua habilidade Protect que vai conceder +2 de armadura para todos os meus monstros.
O Scale Doctor é outro dos meus monstros que possui pouco ataque, mas sua função principal também esta em suas habilidades. O Scale Doctor vai aumentar a vida dos meus monstros em +1 com sua habilidade Strengthen, diminuir a armadura dos monstros inimigos em -2 com sua habilidade Rust, curar meus monstro na backline com sua habilidade Triage e reparar a armadura dos meus monstros com sua habilidade Repair.
Essa batalha foi um teste e tenho que admitir que saiu melhor do que eu esperava porque lutei contra um adversário que utilizou uma das minhas estratégias antigas e no final eu conseguir vencer ele.
Apesar de essa ser uma ótima estratégia para esse tipo de batalha, eu sinto que ainda falta algo porque não foi uma batalha fácil de vencer e eu acabei dependendo um pouco da sorte por causa da habilidade Stun, por esse motivo sinto que ainda não encontrei a estratégia ideal para esse tipo de batalha e pretendo fazer algumas alterações nas próximas batalhas que eu tiver com essa regra e com pouca mana disponível.
