My thoughts of today: Don't ask, "What if it doesn't work?" Ask instead, "What if it does?"
Oh, I guess we're on the same page. I agree wholeheartedly with this thought.
My idea is to sell the food on places like schools, churches or universities.
This would be a good idea, especially close to universities. But I think that it's all about timing. There is this lady that cooks very well in one of the campuses in my university. I've tasted her food a few times and I can attest that she cooks well. However, her food always sells out very fast because she comes around the time when students are hungry(in the morning) and before noon, she is done selling even with other people selling alongside her.
In her case, she uses two elements : timing (the time in the day when student/people need food) and proper cooking. I think you should consider these elements too.
And, after she sells out, she has time to either pursue another source of income or spend time with loved ones.
However, all of this would not happen in just one day. It takes time and consistency.
Quitting your job may seem like a bad idea at the moment but it may be one of the best ideas you'd ever make. You're pursuing your passion and you are clearly motivated. This means you'll put in the work to see the fruition of your food selling business.
I believe fool selling businesses always thrive especially if the cooks are good cooks (like yourself) because people always want to eat.
I wish you good luck in your endeavors and I can't wait to see you and your business thriving. I believe in you and I'll always be here cheering you on Gen😊.
