I have a lot of bottles in my house of different sizes and shapes, square, oval, black, gold, in short, many. My sister is a bartender and when she sees a nice bottle she brings it to me so I can decorate it, because I love decorating bottles. In my blog you can find several tutorials of them. This time I decided that the design would be floral to fill it with beautiful roses, but I realized that the pink moldable foami had a hole where air was getting in and it was getting hard, so I had to take advantage of the remaining one before it also got damaged.
To occupy as much space as possible, I made some large leaves of the plant called lengua de vaca or lengua de suegra, as it is also known, because these have a great spiritual significance. Many believe that this plant has a guardian power, warding off negative energies and attracting good luck, money and positive energies in the places where it is found, so many people plant it at the entrances of their homes. On top I placed several roses of various sizes with their respective small leaves made of moldable foami. It is a very simple and easy to make decoration, I hope you like it. Tengo una gran cantidad de botellas en mi casa de diferentes tamaños y formas, cuadradas, ovaladas, negras, doradas, en fin, muchas. Mi hermana es bartender y cuando ve una botella bonita me la trae para que yo la decore, pues me encanta la decoración de botellas. En mi blog pueden encontrar varios tutoriales de ellas. En esta ocasión decidí que el diseño sería floral para llenarla de rosas hermosas, pero me di cuenta de que el foami moldeable de color rosa tenía un orificio por donde le entraba aire y se estaba poniendo duro, así que tenía que aprovechar el que quedaba antes de que también se dañara.
Para ocupar el mayor espacio, elaboré unas hojas grandes de la planta llamada lengua de vaca o lengua de suegra, como también se conoce, pues estas tienen un gran significado espiritualmente. Muchos creen que esta planta tiene un poder guardián, alejando las energías negativas y atrayendo buena suerte, dinero y energías positivas en los lugares donde se encuentre, por eso muchas personas la siembran en las entradas de sus hogares. Encima coloqué varias rosas de varios tamaños con sus respectivas hojas pequeñas hechas de foami moldeable. Es una decoración muy simple y fácil de hacer, espero que les guste. The first thing to do is to choose the bottle you want, wash it very well and remove all the labels it has; with hot water they come off easily. On a sheet of green foami, mark the silhouettes of the leaves of the cow's tongue plant, which are fine-tipped. Cut them out and with a toothpick make several lines to give texture.
Lo primero es escoger la botella que desees, lavarla muy bien y quitarle todas las etiquetas que posea; con agua caliente salen fácilmente. En una hoja de foami de color verde, marcar las siluetas de las hojas de la planta lengua de vaca, que son de punta fina. Recortarlas y con un palillo hacer varias líneas para darle textura.

Roses are easily made with moldable foami. Make several small balls and flatten them; these will be the petals. To form the roses, start by rolling the petal in the center and from there place the other petals behind where the other one ends until the desired size is obtained. The tips of the petals are curved backwards to make them more beautiful.
Con foami moldeable se elaboran fácilmente las rosas. Se hacen varias bolas pequeñas y se aplanan; estas serán los pétalos. Para formar las rosas se comienza enrollando el pétalo del centro y a partir de allí se van colocando los demás por detrás de donde termina el otro hasta obtener el tamaño deseado. A las puntas de los pétalos se le van haciendo como unas curvas hacia atrás para que queden mucho más bonitas.

To make the leaves I used plasticine and a silicone mold with this shape to make the process faster. After placing them next to the roses, I painted them green so that they would have a homogeneous tone.
Para hacer las hojas utilicé plastilina y un molde de silicona con esta forma para hacer el proceso más rápido. Luego de colocarlas junto a las rosas, las pinté de color verde para que tuvieran una tonalidad homogénea.

With yellow paint I painted the characteristic edges of the cow tongue leaves and several brush strokes with the half dry brush on the inside of the leaves. Then, with pink paint, I made several dots on the strip at the top and bottom that I glued on the bottle to contrast with the colors of the design. I owe these photos to you, I got distracted and forgot to take them.
Con pintura amarilla pinté los bordes característicos de las hojas de lengua de vaca y varios brochazos con el pincel medio seco en el interior de estas. Luego, con pintura rosada, hice varios puntos en la tira de la parte superior e inferior que pegué en la botella para contrastar con los colores del diseño. And thus is finished this beautiful decoration using a recycled bottle. You can place it anywhere in the house or in the office, it would look great. I even thought of putting some lights inside it, because as it has transparent parts it can be used as a lamp, it would be great.
