[EN-ES] How to make a SpongeBob keychain with moldable foami?

Hello dear craft lover friend, once again I am here to show you a new video tutorial. I'm sure you have seen this famous character in the animated world. I love his witticisms and I have not missed any of his movies, even the chapters of the animated series.

With this in mind I came up with the idea of making this keychain, because my cousin bought some wireless headphones a few days ago that came with a SpongeBob lining. I told her that I would make her a keychain to match it since I know this character perfectly.

Estoy segura de que en alguna ocasión has visto este personaje tan famoso en el mundo de los animados. Yo adoro sus ocurrencias y no me he perdido ninguna de sus películas, incluso los capítulos de la serie animada.

Teniendo esto en cuenta me surgió la idea de elaborar este llavero, pues mi prima se compró unos auriculares inalámbricos hace unos días que venían con un forro de Bob Esponja. Le comenté que le haría un llavero para que hiciera juego ya que conozco a la perfección este personje.

Step by step // Paso a paso

To make SpongeBob we will use three main colors of moldable foami. These are white, yellow and carmelite. This last one should be a darker tone but as I didn't have it I used this one which is the most similar.

Para la realización del Bob Esponja utilizaremos tres colores principales de foami moldeable. Estos son el blanco, amarillo y carmelita. Este último debería ser un tono más oscuro pero como no tenía utilicé este que es el más parecido.

The first thing to do is to make a carmelite rectangle that will be the pants. The shirt will be made in the same way, only this one has less height. Then the two parts are joined and measured so that they are of equal size. To form the head we will use the yellow color, giving it a rectangular shape vertically.

Lo primero que debemos hacer es un rectángulo carmelita que serán los pantalones. De igual forma se hará la camisa solo que esta tiene menos altura. Luego se unen y miden las dos partes para que estas queden de igual tamaño. Para formar la cabeza se utilizará el color amarillo, dándole una forma rectangular verticalmente.

With molding tools, trench-like holes are made on the sides and on the top, while on the front with a ball-point tool, the face holes are made.

Con las herramientas de moldeado se hacen como zanjas a los costados y en la parte superior, mientras que en el frente con una herramienta de punta bola, se hacen los orificios de la cara.

To make the mouth, a black crescent is made, on top of which the tongue and the characteristic teeth are placed.

Para elaborar la boca, se hace una medialuna de color negro, encima se coloca la lengua y los característicos dientes.

For the eyes, make two flattened balls of the same size and put them in place, on top of them stick two tiny blue balls that will form the iris and for the pupils I used a black marker. The nose will be a small cylinder and I placed it in a curved shape.

Para los ojitos, se hacen dos bolitas aplanadas del mismo tamaño y se colocan en su lugar, encima se pegan dos bolitas diminutas de color azul que formarán el iris y para las pupilas utilicé un marcador negro. La naricita será un pequeño cilindro y lo coloqué de forma curva.

With black foami I made the belt and with the same color of the pants I placed the belt loops. Then I made the tie and for the collar of the shirt I made two inverted triangles.

Con foami negro hice el cinturón y con el mismo color del pantalón coloqué las trabillas. Luego elaboré la corbata y para el cuello de la camisa hice dos triángulos invertidos.

The cheeks are two little balls placed right next to the mouth to which I made some red dots with marker, which will be the little peaks. With black marker I painted the eyelashes.

Las mejillas son dos bolitas colocadas justo al lado de la boca a las cuales se le hacen unos puntos rojos con marcador que serán las pequitas. Con marcador negro pinté las pestañas.

The sleeves of the shirt are like two cones without tip that are placed at the sides. A hole is opened in them where the little hands are then placed. Then I made the rest of the pants, which are two flattened balls, in the same way the holes are opened to place the legs.

Las mangas de la camisa son como dos conos sin punta que se sitúan a los costados. A estos se les abre un agujero donde luego se colocan las manitos. Después hice el resto del pantalón que son dos bolas aplastadas, de igual forma se abren los agujeros para posteriormente colocar las piernas.

For the legs, two yellow tubes are made, and half of them are covered with white foami to make the stockings. The shoes are placed and with blue and red marker the lists of the stockings are painted.

Para las piernas se hacen dos tubos amarillos, a estos, la mitad se les cubre con foami blanco para hacer las medias. Se colocan los zapatos y con marcador azul y rojo se pintan las listas de las medias.

Using pliers and an electric hammer nail, I made the ring to attach the key ring hardware, then inserted it into the top of the head before the material dried completely. Finally, place the key ring hardware.

Con ayuda de una pinza y un clavo de martillo eléctrico elaboré la anilla para colocar el herraje del llavero, luego lo introduje en la parte superior de la cabeza antes de que secara completamente el material. Por último, colocar el herraje para llavero.
