Loving Our Culture
Street art can be expressed in different ways and through it we can discover the true identity and characteristics that define a certain people, it is for this reason that when I have the opportunity to visit and walk the streets of the Venezuelan capital, I take advantage of these opportunities to capture the most iconic and representative artistic pieces and murals of this great city, Sometimes I go with a clearly defined plan and looking for a particular piece, but on occasions like this, the surprise catches me to give me an incredibly striking and conceptually very complete artistic piece, where our national identity is highlighted and at the same time a wink is made to the capital's feeling.

Amando Nuestra Cultura
El arte callejero se puede expresar de diversas formas y a través de él podemos descubrir la verdadera identidad y las características que definen a determinado pueblo, es por esta razón que cuando tengo la oportunidad de visitar y recorrer las calles de la capital venezolana aprovecha estas oportunidades para capturar las piezas artísticas y los murales más icónicos y representativos de esta gran ciudad, a veces voy con un plan claramente definido y buscando alguna pieza en particular, pero en ocasiones como esta, la sorpresa me atrapa para obsequiarme una pieza artística increíblemente llamativa y conceptualmente muy completa, en donde se ve resaltada nuestra identidad nacional y al mismo tiempo se le hace un guiño al sentir capitalino.
Almost hidden in a corner of the least used exit of the Altamira station of line 1 of the Caracas subway we can find this beautiful piece of mural art, where in a very small space we can find references to our indigenous past, examples of our religious syncretism, a clear sample of our interesting gastronomy, an image referring to our exuberant nature and passion for freedom and finally the symbol of the Chacao municipality demonstrated in its obelisk and the pride of Caracas reflected in a subway car, unfortunately I do not know who is the author of this incredible work, but I really enjoyed admiring it and I feel proud to have photographed it.
Casi escondido en una esquina de la salida menos usada de la estación Altamira de la línea 1 del metro de Caracas podemos encontrar esta linda pieza de arte mural, en donde en un muy pequeño espacio podemos encontrar referencias a nuestro pasado indígena, ejemplos de nuestro sincretismo religioso, una muestra clara de nuestra interesante gastronomía, una imagen referente de nuestra exuberante naturaleza y pasión por la libertad y para finalizar el símbolo del municipio Chacao demostrado en su obelisco y el orgullo de Caracas reflejado en un vagón del metro, desafortunadamente no sé quién es el autor de esta increíble obra, pero realmente disfruté admirándola y me siento orgulloso de haberla fotografiado.
