Falta muy poco para terminar el año y lo que más veo es la palabra en imágenes de "vision board" en redes sociales.
Por si no sabes lo que es, se refiere a visualizar de forma gráfica lo que quieres en tu vida. Es decir, por medio de recortes de revistas, impresiones de imagenes, frases y otros. Que también puedes realizar de forma digital.
Antes de que se pusiera tan de moda, ya lo hacía y lo hago. Tengo una libreta que reciclé (porque sinceramente no me gusta botar las cosas que aún tienen uso), le cambié la portada y quedó preciosa.
En la primera página hice una lista de todas las cosas que quiero hacer en mi vida.
La miro y pienso cómo ha cambiado todo. Antes solo me gustaba el dibujo y la escritura, ahora tengo la mente abierta a negocios digitales y demás.
No lo había pensado, no me abría pasado por la cabeza que conseguiría trabajo online, un trabajo real, ni que empezaría una tienda. No tenía en mente monetizar mi hobby de crear contenido mientras siembro plantitas.
Poco a poco ese vision board ha crecido en mi mente.
Pero, siempre existió, y trabajó pensando en ello.
¿Por qué anoté todo?
Quizás te lo preguntes. Cuando empecé a trabajar de forma independiente, un día me senté y dije "debo poner orden a mis ideas, para saber qué haré". Y todo lo consigues teniendo objetivos a seguir.
Aunque metí algunas ideas que no conseguiría a corto plazo, nada de mi vision board es irreal, porque ahora sé que lo puedo conseguir. No como en ese momento en que lo veía tan lejano. El clásico "algún día".
La diferencia en aquel año y ahora es que mis metas tienen una fecha, poniendo un plazo sobre ello. Lo que, si te soy sincera, considero importante.
Este año me puse como plazo conseguir ingresos en línea. Así como aprender un montón sobre ello. Y lo conseguí. El año que viene tengo otra mega meta, acompañada de pequeños objetivos por seguir. Y por supuesto, siempre abierta a las oportunidades que me da la vida.
Por lo que si me preguntan en sí hacer o no un vision board, te diría que sí, hazlo.
Te ayudará a visualizar lo que quieres. Pero, lo que nadie te dice es que puedes empezar escribiendo, anota en una hoja esas metas que tienes para el año que viene. Metas realistas, que puedas alcanzar, y en las que puedas trabajar para conseguirlas en un año.
También te recomiendo que las acompañes de objetivos, que son un poco más pequeños, por así decirlo.
Y luego de ello, ve a Canva, pega en un documento en blanco todas las imágenes acompañadas de frase de tu preferencia. Lo mejor de esto es que puedes ser muy creativo.
A todo este proceso le añadiría hacer una hoja del paso a paso para conseguir tus metas. Creo que esto es importante porque te ayuda a tener claro qué debes de hacer para poderlo conseguir, si está a tu alcance, y sino, cuáles serían las alternativas para ello.
En mi caso, vivo en Venezuela, hay límites, por demás, que puedo encontrarme para hacer cualquier cosa por más simple que parezca. Pero, siempre hay una manera que me lo puede permitir.
Y es precisamente este último paso el que me ha ayudado un montón a llevar a cabo esa hoja de vision board escrita a mano que hice hace años.
Así que ve, cambia los propósitos por metas en tu vida y crea todo eso que sueñas.
The year is almost over and what I see the most is the word "vision board" in images on social media.
In case you don't know what it is, it refers to visualizing in a graphic way what you want in your life. That is, through magazine clippings, printouts of images, phrases and others. You can also do it digitally.
Before it became so fashionable, I already did it and I do it. I have a notebook that I recycled (because I honestly don't like to throw away things that are still in use), I changed the cover and it turned out beautiful.
On the first page I made a list of all the things I want to do in my life.
I look at it and think how everything has changed. Before I only liked drawing and writing, now I have an open mind to digital businesses and so on.
I hadn't thought about it, it hadn't crossed my mind that I would get a job online, a real job, or that I would start a store. I didn't have in mind to monetize my hobby of creating content while I plant little plants.
Little by little that vision board has grown in my mind.
But, it always existed, and I worked thinking about it.
Why did I write everything down?
You may wonder. When I started working independently, one day I sat down and said "I must put my ideas in order, to know what I will do." And you achieve everything by having goals to follow.
Although I put in some ideas that I wouldn't achieve in the short term, nothing on my vision board is unrealistic, because now I know that I can achieve it. Not like at that time when I saw it as so far away. The classic "someday."
The difference between that year and now is that my goals have a date, putting a deadline on it. Which, if I'm honest, I consider important.
This year I set myself the deadline of earning income online. As well as learning a lot about it. And I achieved it. Next year I have another mega goal, accompanied by small goals to follow. And of course, I'm always open to the opportunities that life gives me.
So if you ask me whether or not to make a vision board, I would say yes, do it.
It will help you visualize what you want. But, what nobody tells you is that you can start by writing, write down on a sheet of paper those goals that you have for next year. Realistic goals, that you can achieve, and that you can work on to achieve them in a year.
I also recommend that you accompany them with objectives, which are a little smaller, so to speak.
And after that, go to Canva, paste all the images accompanied by the phrase of your choice into a blank document. The best thing about this is that you can be very creative.
To this whole process I would add making a sheet of the step by step to achieve your goals. I think this is important because it helps you to be clear about what you must do to be able to achieve it, if it is within your reach, and if not, what the alternatives would be for it.
In my case, I live in Venezuela, and there are limits, moreover, that I can find in doing anything, no matter how simple it may seem. But, there is always a way that allows me to do it.
And it is precisely this last step that has helped me a lot to carry out that handwritten vision board that I made years ago.
So go on, change your purposes for goals in your life and create everything you dream of.
