Hola amigos, nuevamente Zuni por acá, para contarles como fue mi fin de Semana Santa y aprovechando la ocasión para participar de la iniciativa promovida por la comunidad @hiveargentina.

Hi friends, Zuni here again, to tell you how was my Easter weekend and taking the opportunity to participate in the initiative promoted by the community @hiveargentina.

En Paraguay y viviendo en el campo, para estas fechas para mí eran los momentos de comilonas. Siempre íbamos a lo de mi abuela a ayudar con todos los preparativos en la cocina, para recibir a todos los parientes que venían de todos lados. A mi madre no le gustaba mucho porque pensaba o decía que no quería ser sirvienta de los parientes que venían y había que servirle. Pero yo, al ser una niña, lo único que me importaba era que mis hermanos comieran rico y llevarme parte de lo que sobraba para casa.

In Paraguay and living in the countryside, for me these were the times of feasting. We always went to my grandmother's house to help with all the preparations in the kitchen, to receive all the relatives who came from everywhere. My mother didn't like it very much because she thought or said that she didn't want to be the servant of the relatives who came and had to serve them. But I, being a child, the only thing that mattered to me was that my brothers and sisters ate well and that I took some of the leftovers home.
Hoy en día y gracias al universo puedo realizar cositas ricas en casa y obviamente con la ayuda de mis hijos. Las imágenes de arriba son tres roscas de pascuas que Genaro realizo para la familia. Con harina común y por ese motivo yo no puedo comerlo o mejor dicho no deseo comerlo. Ellos lo prefieren así y no debo prohibirlo, a pesar de que pienso que la harina es muy mala sinceramente.

Today, thanks to the universe, I can make delicious things at home and obviously with the help of my children. The images above are three roscas de pascuas that Genaro made for the family. With regular flour and for that reason I can't eat it or rather I don't want to eat it. They prefer it this way and I should not forbid it, even though I think that flour is very bad.
Por supuesto no me iba a quedar sin comer roscas a lo Zuni y me preparé algo parecido, pero con harinas sin gluten. Un tanto más desabridas para ellos, pero yo lo disfruté muchísimo. Recuerdo que cuando teníamos el almacén para estas fechas preparaba muchas de estas exquisiteces y vendíamos todo. Mucho trabajo sinceramente, pero muy satisfactorio cuando el producto se vende.
! [English]Of course I was not going to stay without eating donuts Zuni style and I prepared something similar, but with gluten-free flours. A bit more tasteless for them, but I enjoyed it very much. I remember that when we had the store for this time of the year, she prepared a lot of these delicacies and we sold everything. A lot of work to be honest, but very satisfying when the product sells.
Para nosotros lo más importante fue la visita de Ashley, mi hija mayor. Ella sorprendida por lo grande que esta Don Juan y su hermanito feliz porque, según él, lo extraña mucho. Por supuesto, el perro Orejón también estaba muy feliz de la visita de nuestra princesa. Estas fechas, más allá de que no somos muy religiosos o quizás lo somos, pero a nuestro estilo, lo que me hace feliz es la unión familiar y sobre todo de los míos.
! [English]The most important thing for us was the visit of Ashley, my oldest daughter. She was surprised by how big Don Juan is and her little brother was happy because, according to him, he misses him very much. Of course, the dog Orejón was also very happy about the visit of our princess. These dates, beyond the fact that we are not very religious or maybe we are, but in our own style, what makes me happy is the family union and especially my family.

Esta imagen es de la rosca que trajo mi hija y evidentemente lo hizo de la manera tradicional. Todos los chicos y el padre quedaron felices por el presente y se lo devoraron todo. Por suerte me dejaron sacar una foto para el post y para el recuerdo. Decían que esa es la manera correcta de preparar una rosca de pascuas 😁.

This picture is of the rosca that my daughter brought and evidently she did it the traditional way. All the kids and the father were happy for the present and devoured it all. Luckily they let me take a picture for the post and for the memory. They said that's the right way to prepare an Easter donut 😁.
También realicé huevos de pascuas a lo Zuni, con la ayuda de Genaro. Pudimos compartir solo uno con la familia y el resto lo guardamos para cuando veamos películas juntos. Debido a mi poco tiempo es que no puedo realizar una publicación de como lo preparo y es por eso que comparto solo algunas imágenes o videitos.
Con esta publicación quise participar de la iniciativa y contarles un poco de como pasamos nosotros este fin de semana largo. También comimos tartas de atún, empanadas y el domingo algo de carnes de cerdo. En conclusión, nuestra Semana Santa fue de mucha comida y sobre todo unión familiar y creo que es lo que debe prevalecer.

I also made Easter eggs Zuni style, with Genaro's help. We were able to share only one with the family and the rest we saved for when we watch movies together. Due to my limited time I can't make a publication of how I prepare it and that's why I only share some pictures or videos.
With this post I wanted to participate in the initiative and tell you a little of how we spent this long weekend. We also ate tuna pies, empanadas and on Sunday some pork. In conclusion, our Holy Week was one of lots of food and above all family togetherness and I think that is what should prevail.
