It is time again to delve into my camera roll for images that tell the story of last week. Swashbuckling is down about 75% due to lockdowns and restrictions but you can't keep a good Zeke down.
Let's do this!

The weather has been fairly stable and mild as winter approaches. Cool enough that the snow sticks around but the sun still delivers traces of warmth. My trusty ladder delivered me to this vantage point, looking north. I should go through ladder pictures from my covert ops role as a runner of wires, and mounter of wireless internet devices. You won't envy my work in this role next month as the temperature drops and cold wind visits me atop my ladder.

Our town has contained the virus fairly well with the exception of a few medical and long-term care facilities. 40 minutes to the east and southwest, there are slightly larger cities which have not fared as well and are dealing with a second wave of restrictions. Seems inevitable the government moves us into red
This won't be fun for restaurants and this smart couple is taking the opportunity to enjoy a safe date night while they can.

Seems to be the season of birthdays and there was a 13th in the mix. I will have to admit I am enjoying intimate celebrations as is the new norm. Thinking back to our officially becoming a teenager, can you remember the experience and imagine what that would be like now? Not an easy time no matter the environment but it is the trials that add up and define us. I know for sure I would have destroyed this cake and enjoyed every bite.

Speaking of tasty, check out this patented Extreme Dramatic Close-up! It is courtesy of a local Creole Smokehouse that recently opened its doors. They are getting glowing reviews for the marketing we are doing and the delectable menu that features this Mac and Cheese. I am getting hungry just looking at this cheesy landscape and think I will have some next week.

My work with the local multicultural association continues to be fulfilling as we work to help all cultures within this vibrant community. The message is fun to tell and is getting picked up by many regional media and news outlets. This story revolved around regional officials voting against creating a formal anti-racism committee. sensitive topic and a conversation worth having.

Alright alright of COURSE there was beer involved. This one is a limited run Double IPA from one of my recent favourite regional breweries. You can see how thick it looks with the haze and lower level of carbonation and it is relatively lower ABV than the typical Double. You will have to wait 'til #beersaturday to hear about it though.

'Tis the season around these parts as Christmas decorations bloomed overnight ad the beginning of the month. This is a nice decoration I received from one of my oldest young friends @brittandjosie. I will definitely have to use it for the weekend Sweet Hops and will preemptively give it and approved stamp.

Until we meet again next week, I hope life is as productive, enjoyable and tranquil as my country drive this morning.
Thanks for checking in! See you next week!
