This picture definitely reminds me of today.
So it all starts off when I get a phone call from the claim owner asking if I'm busy and I want to do anything.
Next thing you know I'm driving to the middle of Timbuktu and then the claim owner isn't even there and I have to drive even further into the Himalayas to acquire the Lost claim owner.
so after all the snowbound treacherous journeys blah blah blah blah blah. I finally picked him up and we prepare to go to mystical realm of Sandy Oregon.
And because I always made your traffic disruption we ended up having to take the super far long road going all the way around.
However it actually wasn't that bad because we got to see some amazing parts of the Pacific Northwest that normally You Don't see.
Here we are at the magical Kingdom of Sandy Oregon airport.
It definitely has changed since the first season of Alaska gold rush.
And then the claim owner tells me to follow the white car.
White Tesla..
Holy cow that's actually Todd Hoffman...
No joke he literally drives it off-road into grassfield.
I have to say he was exceptionally polite.
I am traditional shelf however I stayed out of the conversation.
Todd said he would do cash for trade for gold!
And actually right now with price of gold I can see exactly why.
And absolutely wow however as much as I want exceptional piles of equipment we will see how all of this works out.
So midst of this I have listed some of my gear for sale and one of them happens to be spoken for.
So my orange Benchmade model 51 pocket knife has now returned to the wilds where it originally came from during the time that I had possessed it.
And then I also had a pile of AR-15 magazines that I also liquidated! Adding another 65 bucks towards my new gear list.
Show traffic ended up being completely destroyed on I-5 so stupid me instead of just staying quiet relaxing and playing video games..
I end up braving traffic I'm fighting my way all the way North into Washington. Excellent job so we pull over after acquiring sustenance and snacks.
And as I'm searching next thing you know I find a posting for some backup iron sights...
Oh wow and I know the brand because I had sold my iron sights. They were the exact same thing however these are brand spanking new...
Holy cow and it's also got the open circle h&k style front sight just like I really likie.
And then the guy tells me he has a bunch of 10 round 762 x 51 magazines for an AR-10.
Oh is that so?
Well that would be a half a box of shells per magazine and half the weight of the 20 round magazines being fully loaded...
So today in total... I made out like a bandit. And even though I got and wasted a ton of gas today I still made out exceptionally well.
So... I definitely ended up replacing the iron sights I have traded off and am redoing my entire setup.
Oh these things arnt cheap and I got the pair for $100 and the mags for $10 each. Again half price.
So $280 worth of gear... For $140. Impressive. And I can definitely make my money back if I need to liquidate them...
However?....
I don't have any 10 round mags. Easier and lighter in thick brush. And a mag change isn't hard at all.
Oh and I forgot as was going through downtown Portland war zone area I captured these photos.
It's definitely not pretty.
