We can see what your bandwidth can handle - in fact I would look at discord - the video chat maybe not but their audio is designed for low latency and clock cycles...also consider linux to give new life to those computers.
Discord or mumble for a chat room for your viewers and to support and share ideas. I have mentioned it many times to other shows but they do not see the vision. Building the audience or the 1000 loyal followers is the foundation of any new movement.
You could upload the video and do a live chat at a certain time - live audience interaction without the bandwidth - upload early and schedule a chat for later - whatever is the common time they watch etc...
Discord is a fantastic option for support and interaction. Do you use an encrypted app and email for the projects - I suggest you get signal for the phone and wire for the desktop - then use encrypted email plus a vpn. Serious privacy and possible surveillance issues incoming imo.
