The next step of my @blokz // https://blokz.io evolution is to fund the endeavor. As such, I'm doing a full powerdown and moving all (or at least the majority) of my hive over there to power up.
Once that's done, I'll be ready to get out of my alpha startup phase and into soft launch status.
What's soft launch ?
Well, at that point I'll have my hive downloader at 1.0, available at https://blokz.github.io/hive-downloader/ Currently works for downloading 99.997% of hive users posts, but still alpha as it won't download a couple high volume accounts (like @haejin), it's at a 0.9 version at the moment while I finish up porting it from local storage to indexeddb. I'm the last post https://personal.community/?post=@sn0n/announcing-a-new-hive-tool-export-your-posts-to-zip I mentioned it not working for profiles like @edicted, this has been fixed by compressing posts in localstorage, but as @foxon pointed out, haejin wasn't working, and as @rishi556 says, "not good enough", always pushing me to do better. Thanks bro! I'll slowly add more features after it's indexeddb upgrade, like exporting to formats other then markdown (.md), selective downloading and searching.
Anyways, got sidetracked, back to the soft launch stuff...
https://personal.community has some upgrades planned, infinite scrolling, more auto filling profile data (in addition to the current method of manually listing tags to follow), and more..
Before that however, https://self-help.dev needs some love, it's been ignored for far too long, my goal and dream for that is to be the @actifit of personal development. Will have daily prompts and various tracks for skill based development, all self driven past the initial skillbook, which will be the initial 2 week habit building guided "what I think it would be good to focus on" type guide. This first skillbook will help build daily habits and focus on what YOU want, helping with setting goals and following through, working on routines and decluttering your life, shifting focus from out of your control to in your control, basically all the stuff found in hundreds of self-help books, but free, and compressed to a better then just bullet points and opinion. The second part of self-help.dev will be unlocked once the first 2 week guidebook is done which will be "blank skillbooks" to continue learning and function as a knowledge base as well as a tool to keep on track with daily learning.
Words, pictures, things & such. Lots of plans, so little time.
