I have mentioned Steemit and Dlive to a friend that runs a podcast, "The Basement Dwellers."
Eventually he started asking me more questions about it as more members of his podcast started getting interested.
I have been invited to join their pre-recorded podcast to discuss Steemit, @Dlive, @Utopian, and @DTube and I was given permission to stream LIVE on DLive while I do! I will be streaming around 8:00 PM eastern tonight (1:00 AM UTC).
This is all part of my grander scheme to bring not just creators to Steemit but consumers as well.
I have actively been participating in creating a Dlive streaming schedule to help organize streams and make it easier to keep track of different categories of streams. You can follow @dlive24hour for the weekly schedule and other information on the forming of DLive24Hour, a channel I am creating to stream targeted content 24 hours a day.
Imagine going to Dlive and having the opportunity to choose between targeted channels for crypto news, talk shows, music, education, etc. The opportunities are literally endless.
That is what I want to bring to Dlive and Steemit. I also have plans to help the @dsound platform with changes and upgrades I hope to help facilitate on Dlive.
Recently, @jerrybanfield posted this article on how to fund a steem growth project so I wanted to "double dip" my promotional post with an opportunity to discuss my growth plans with an intention of gaining visibility to my project.
In his post, Jerry asks the following questions:
Who is participating? Currently, @dlive24hour is the brain-child of myself with help from the DLive community, @samsiedenstrang and @peppernrino. More people will be added as the project grows.
What has been done on a project already? I created the account, @dlive24hour, created a weekly Dlive streaming schedule that is in it's third week, spoke with Dlive about the capabilities of streaming for 24 hours on the platform, beginning to seek and receive permission from Dlive streamers to use their uploaded Dlive videos to use for the channel and have already started testing on the ability to do so live on DLive. I also am reaching out to the DTube community to use their videos as well.
What is being done today? Gaining visibility and awareness of the project as well as what is listed above.
How does the project add value to Steem? It helps to make it easier for content consumers to have streams listed as well as having channels with targeted content. I feel this can help to both make it easier for creators to be found and consumers to find great content. That will bring attention to Steemit and therefore an interest and demand for steem.
How much funding is requested in Steem, SBD, and/or USD? Ideally, having a computer with the ability to play dlive videos and stream would help exponentially. My current capabilities to do this with an i5 HP laptop are limited. I am no expert but I feel that $1000 towards an actual PC would help give me the foundation I need to propel this further. In addition, any delegation given to @dlive24hour would go completely into upvoting streamers that are on the schedule as well as upvoting anything that helps the project grow.
Where the funding will go? Directly to a PC.
What is the smallest amount we can start with to fund? Any amount of delegation will help but enough money to purchase a PC that can handle the capabilities I need to run this project would be a God-send.
