Especially this part got me shivers down my spine:

It is as if while in school they were stripped of their aspirations. They are made to pursue a certificate like their lives depended on it. The certificate is talked more of rather than the practicability of the knowledge acquired. So we end up having empty heads with good certificates. And if you take that certificate from them, they are nothing to start with.
