The event happened last June 2, 2018 in Luis Amigo Ladies Dormitory, Cebu City. This project aims to help those less fortunate kids by giving them a fun and memorable activities. When I arrived on the place, some of the activities were started for the kids in the event. The first activity was about art, we gave the kids uncolored picture of the sea with animal creatures in it.
In this part of the activity, they can show their art skills and creativity by giving life to the uncolored pictures, they had colored the pictures nicely and lively. Here you can see that they have wonderful imaginations and a wide creativity as what they had colored the pictures.
After the art acitvity, Its time for the kids to loosen up their sweats and physical effort by playing Basketball. It was led by my co-volunteers @josephace135 and @jassennessaj. The game is so fun and intense and the scores were close. Giving this kind of activity can build teamwork, self-discipline and concentration as they play with the game.The winner of the basketball activity was @jassennessaj team.
I'm very to help as a volunteer with this kind of event, i was able to help and assist the kids for this one day activity. Seeing the kids wearing smiles in their faces could not be paid by any amount. I would like to thank the main organizer of this event and to all volunteers. Giving big thanks to the kids that showed their genuine happiness to us. And to all who donate financially and support of the said event. Hope this kind of activity will happen again and more.
