My name is @akintunde and I am writing on behalf of the steem @reachout community.
Steem Reachout is a very young initiative aimed at :
- Preaching Steem to the Unreached
- Helping Newbies Stand on their feet by showing them around the steem blockchain
- Curating Amazing Content
- Give Interesting Newbies the Visibility they deserve
- Provide Steem And Blockchain Education
So here and right now, we are launching our first Initiative: THE STEEM SOLUTION CENTER
Over time, we have seen that many newbees get very disillusioned about what next to do after the success of their introduction post. They simply don't know their way around. They were possibly brought in my busy steem evangelists who didn't have the time to answer some of their basic questions.
Someone suggested that we definitely can't hold their hands through their entire process. Nevertheless, We, at @reachout believe that newbies deserve to have a basic understanding of how things work around here.
So for this reason, @reachout as a community felt it wouldn't be a bad idea if we start a solution center on our discord channel. We are very young but that should not stop us from helping new steem users.
I happen to be a programmer, over time I have had the opportunity to peep into the steem blockchain , most especially through the steemjs api and I have discovered that there a lot of inactive accounts on the steem blockchain, much more than we can ever imagine.
I believe that one of the chief causes of user's inactivity is disillusionment on the basis of ignorance of how the system works. Some users simply get confused about how the steem blockchain operates and therefore simply quit.
Let's be sincere, the steem blockchain could be really complicated for those who come from traditional social networking system like Facebook and twitter.
So here is the solution:

Here is the process of use:
Users can come in anytime to drop questions in the #steem-questions channel of the @reachout discord channel .
Every night, all questions received will be answered via a post here on the @reachout page. Also, we might send personal messages to users on discord if there is a need for that but for now, that might be done less frequently until we have enough manpower to service that.
Questions are not going to be 'ignorantly' answered. We would reach out to Steem Veterans in situations where we can not answer such questions.
