Of course I ( @zicodee ) was among the Ashanti Team that paid visit to the less privilege children at the Kumasi Children's home on the 25th February, 2018. Last Sunday.
I am proud to boast because being among steemians alone is a pride not to talk of joining them for a meet up. I wasn't only happy to pay the visit but I was extremely happy to contribute something small for the donation.
The Holy Bible made us understand in Proverbs 11:25 that; "A generous person will prosper; whoever refreshes others will be refreshed." So when I remember this Bible quotation and being so lucky to refresh the need with the little that I had, then words cannot express my joy. Meaning I didn't donate in vain but I will be refreshed in the future says the Bible.
This is my second time of joining the Ashanti team for a meet up but I'm so much excited to be part of this one. Because I went to receive blessings in disguise.
One thing I loved about these children and the home is the fact that, there's no identification nor discrimination by tribalism religion or whatsoever, so there was peaceful coexistence in the house. Ooh gosh! I would love to visit the home again.
Before I sign out, I want to use this my platform to entreat all steemians around the globe to take part in every steemit meets up and steemit will not only be promoted by you but will also receive blessings when possible.
