Success is for those who are consistent and not what we ever do once that shapes our lives and gives us success.
I remember a quote from one of the kunfu fighters Bruce Lee about building himself so strong that he says: "Long-term consistency beats short-term intensity. It just means being very strong is not strength or power." something, it is your consistent form to achieve it.
Let me dive into the two words INTENSITY & CONSISTENCY
Intensity can be a measure of the effort you put into something, such as exercise, training, health, or earning money.
Intensity is the short-term energy that you put into something and expect an immediate result, whereas that energy cannot make a difference in the long run.
Intensity is most prevalent in today's world, we live in a microwave life effect that wants so fast and now!. I check such an hive account some days now. The first three posts on the account do not get upvote, well I don't know what can say to the person before he opens an account, maybe he has been told that he will get rewards for creating content . Yes you will! But he gives up so easily.
Although sometimes when you see someone who has posted the same thing you post. for example, an introductory post and get high votes, but you will dont get any you will be discouraged, but believe me everything is grace and patience on trial from our creator.
Let associate it with the fact that when you go to a gym for the first time and want to lift heavy iron, you will end up with injuries and burnout from pushing yourself so hard beyond what your body can regularly handle, and get exhausted because it's not what your body understand.
You want to get a higher upvote without putting more effort into what you've written or persisting oh! It is wrong.
Consistency is the degree to which an activity is performed regularly on a consistent basis. Or suppose it takes time to build an account in hive. Yes, it has to do with your consistency.
You cannot open an account one day and expect to grow. Better build a good relationship and promise to be consistent because there are no immediate results here.
However, a person can be one of two intensities x consistent by maintaining the intensity level but focusing on a consistent pattern of activities if you have a good plan.
How do we develop consistency
- Start small
You can start anywhere. That's remind me a content I read a post from @jongolson a week ago about how to communicate on this Blockchain with an idea of 5-500-5000. The code simply means that you interact with five different people a day, five people will give you five hundred followers and from their support it will be so easy to reach 5000 HP.
You can't cut your cake and have it you have to sacrifice your time so start somewhere.
- Think smart
Before taking steps on the journey think about achieving a goal. Like I said before, your goal of interacting with 5 different people a day is to reach 5000 HP, if you set that kind of goal and stick to it you'll definitely be consistent in the chain. And be specific about what you want so you don't get discouraged.
Be measurable, don't say "I'll start committing fully next week" or "I'll start committing three hours a day next week" is not a meaningful goal. Knowing the good story about it. It's when I increase my engagement I found myself in the Hive engagement league top 30 and now get an ecency point almost every week. Received another 300 points tonight. Thank you @melinda010100
Plus, you know what you want so you break down big ideas in a way that you can achieve it and then write it down whether you achieve it or not so if you don't, start where you stop and work out on how many weeks or months it will take you to accomplish these goal.
Prepare for failure
If you want to be successful you have to fail and fail again until you learn from your past mistakes and move on. Don't fall victim to those who fail and don't make more attempt because they are afraid of failing again so they don't take more steps. If you make a mistake take responsibility for that mistake by learning from it to fix what could have happened before it's too late.
Bottom line
I know it's very hard to create high quality content, especially if you don't have the skills to back up your writing here, but with longevity and consistency, you get it so easy. keep in mind that consistency is key before starting a writing career.
The longer we consistently do something that will pushes us from our comfort zone and along the line we will get used to it by getting strong with it.
