I have on many occassions said I'm not much of a photographer and that kinda thing, and after seeing my friend @cryptozeug entry to the Proof of brain photography contest I was like, well here's a good reason to pratice.
Here is my entry.
The challenge was to use leading lines in the photo.
Which the definition of leading lines in the contest post is
Leading lines photography is a technique where you use natural or man-made lines to guide the viewer’s eyes through the photo. These lines usually lead to the main subject or create a sense of depth and movement.
This idea applies to any visual art really. Of the visual media out there, photography is the best for playing around with composition. So here I am playing with my camera.
While the grass isn't quite a straight line like many of the examples it def pulls the eye upward to the lovely blue sky. I took a lot of photos that attempted to use the leading line while on a walk and this was my favorite.
Thank you to the @friendlymoose for making a photography contest with such simple rules.
