Out, Past Cape Caution
She and I have been traveling for a weeks now, and exploring all over the Pacific Northwest. Finally, finished exploring the area north of Seattle and Washington, we set out past Cape Caution, for the inside of Calvert Island, and Fitzhugh Sound. Our goal of exploring the many islands, cut short, by the overabundance of caution with the Corona Virus. We settled in for a week spent at anchor, in the sound, content to be along, and explore only short day trips with the dinghy.
We explored ashore, seeing many horsetail falls and bridal veil falls. Ashore, we could see a lone black bear, a few black tail deer, a mother and three brown bear cubs, and many different species of birds. Probably most common, were the American Bald Eagle. In the inlets, we see Dahl Dolphin, Grey Whales, and humpbacks, and too many seals to count. we see the rare otter in these parts...
The nights, we were aboard Blue's Dream. I set about in the galley. With some rosemary simmering in olive oil, my knife hits the cutting board, and makes quick work of the turkey breast I thawed from the deep freezer. Now cubed, I let it sear in the pan. Alongside the Turkey tips, I dice some pineapple. It is sweet, and will do nicely tonight. The rice has been cooking.
After a leisurely dinner, and a quick wipe down of the kitchen, we settle. Some music playing, softly. She's playful tonight. Singing and dancing as I sit on the couch, finally done with my day. I smile when she reaches for my hand and pulls me to her, still dancing.
Her hips sway, my hands follow, and land on her waist. We draw closer, and I can feel her hips, graze mine, as her back turns to me now. I can feel the soft curves of her backside, pressing lightly, and moving against me. Each beat of the song, her body pulses slightly closer to me. Pushing and pressing. And pulling me towards her all the same.
I feel the heat of her body, feel the heat of her mouth close to my ear and pull back. Each time, each verse of the song, closer still to me. Her lips barely touch me. Soft, and wet, barely touching
I notice, I am swaying too, to the music. She's put a hand, softly on my chest, leading me backwards, until the back of my calves hit the couch, and I am seated again. She reaches to the side, and dims all but one lone light, behind us. I feel her, sink down onto my lap, still moving with the soft music. Her body, fully pressed to me. Her chest, brushing mine. Her mouth so close to mine. Her hips are rocking now, forward and back. Rolling against me. She's rocking now, as if I am a horse, she has mounted and is riding.
I reach up, in a break between songs, my hand on the back of her neck. My fingers slip up, into her hair, and pull her to me. Her hips stop for a moment, and she rises on her thighs. I hear her pants sliding off, and feel her hands, unbutton my pants, tugging, and removing them, as well. Finally, she lowers, sinks down, onto me. She tilts her head back with the feeling. In the darkness, the last thing I notice, as I kiss her, is the shadow of a widow's peak, at the top of her forehead.
