The article "Key Problems With Web 3.0 Security and Ways To Tackle Them" (https://dailyhodl.com/2022/07/05/key-problems-with-web-3-0-security-and-ways-to-tackle-them/) is about Web 3.0 security vulnerabilities ripe for exploiting.

The first problem deals with something I've mentioned many times in the past: "Copy and pasting has been and still is a mainstay of coding."

It just doesn't make sense to waste time and energy reinventing the wheel when someone else has already done that part of your program for - and probably better than - you.

However, if done with reckless abandon; that is, without vetting each line of that borrowed code, you may be placing someone else's backdoors, delayed-fuse explosives and security weaknesses into your own code.

Parting Shot: If someone tells you about his perfect computer program, he's full of sh*t. There's no such thing as perfect code.
