With IOTA's history of hacks, I wonder how the guys at Hashgraph do their things sans hiccups?

I mean, their "gossip about gossip" protocol is basically a DAG on steroids!

My opinion?

I suspect that Hashgraph's success has a lot to do with the fact that their consensus mechanism is patented; something that definitely rubs Charles H. over at Cardano in the wrong way.

Anyway, this means that companies using Hashgraph's tech operate a closed, permissioned network (aka "only vetted validators allowed").

That's why its so fast AND secure.

It's an elite, "members only" club.

That certainly conjures up visions of "Good 'Ole Boys Networks".

But of course, I could be wrong.

And since I have a habit of hedging my bets, I must confess that I also hold some ancient HBAR cryptocurrency.
