IN THIS CHALLENGE, THE MAIN CHARACTER IS SCHALA VON LEGNA. Here goes...
AN ASSASSINATION
Panting, their bodies tried to catch breath as the oxytocin calmed their very being. It was a long day for them both; and what a perfect unwind, this petit morte. Schala’s breathing settled first and she arose from the cotton wool blue sheets of the queen sized bed, dropping her legs off the bedside to stand with a straight posture. The moonlight entered from the sole double pane large 4’ x 5’ window and filled most of the room, falling on the entire bed’s surface area and more. It was bouncing off the white ceramic skin between the voluminous raven hair that was the only thing that clothed her. She stood, back facing her partner while anticipating his interjection.
“Where ya goin’ Letitia?” he said lazily, thoroughly convinced that Letitia was her real name, and he ruffled the sheets off his bare body. He was called Medford, an upcoming business man in the lower district, who was still very much attached to his lifestyle of exploiting the slums population. Schala knew his strategies. He was in his mid-thirties, full head of brown straight hair and tanned masculine features. He toted a small punch but you could tell he was an active man based on his muscle definition. This was his room, one he purchased from the hotel chain owner, one of a few real estate items in his possession. The property was part of the Sweet Water Townhouses. It was a condominium at the end of a gated community, overlooking a small ravine. He wanted a relaxing night, after a day of meetings and trading, some of which were corrupt, his nerves were on edge; until Schala relieved his tension that is.
He wanted her to stay for the night, to dance with her before tomorrow’s morning started his work day maybe, or just to comfort him. Schala could feel his indecision while her skin touched his, as her powers allowed her to connect her mind to his intensions. It was hard to hide your feelings when she touched you. Autonomous interrogation to a degree, but a curse imposing on her personality, since when it came to lovers, her ability mitigated one more unknown, one less thrill. It would not matter this time however, for her partner, was also her victim.
Ignoring him she began to clothe herself, which took no time at all since her gown was simple and minimalistic. Getting her hair from beneath the material, after throwing it over her head and allowing it to flow over her frame, was the most work here. Standing now in front of the large window, she opened them to full capacity. The wind howled in and it seemed to bash against her, causing the light fabric of her dress to quiver and her hair to snake wildly, exaggerating her presence in the room.
“I thought you were going to pull the curtains in, not get dressed and open the window. You’re sexy, but damn strange…and I like it.” He turned his complaint into sexual banter as he got off the bed and approached her. Grabbing her waist he spun her around to face him closely. The room’s pressure stabilised so her hair was no longer in frenzy, though it still touched him, allowing her to tell how badly he wanted her, controlled by his carnal nature. To draw him in, she could afford to play hard to get.
“No.” Her voice was almost always sultry “I’m leaving yu now.” She smiled a barely a visible one as the moonlight was at her back. “I’m a buzy girl luv.” He accent subtly played and Medford’s grip tightened on her hip.
“I just want one more taste baby…” He was about an inch shorter than she was, but her stance made their eyes level as he locked her gaze.
“One more baby, you deserve it.” She said, and then they leaned into each other with a magnetic attraction and began kissing deeply. Her hands attached themselves to him, one on the jaw and neck, the other draped over his torso; and he was in closed eye bliss. “This is it”, Schala thought – a black fluid, no less than a teaspoonful, shot from the behind her tongue, sliding from mouth to mouth like oil on water, leaving no residue. It hit the back of Medford’s throat and quickly traveled into his wind pipe. It happened so quickly he did not realize until he felt a complete restriction of inhalation. The standard reflex action kicked in as he pulled away from her and grabbed at his throat. Then panic. He tried to hold onto Schala but she dodged backwards, a cold emotionless countenance staring at the struggling Medford. She did not need to touch him to read his mind now. She witnessed yet another victim, groping for answers. Though no sound came out, she could read his lips, asking Letitia to help all while agony and terror twisted him. She kicked him in the chest, a hard push with her raised foot more like it, and he hit the base of the bed, shivering, blue, eyes rolling up and inward, hopelessly dying…until stillness.
It was that moment she felt the thrill she was missing, the rest of her orgasm. Her knees buckled bit and the magical liquid pulled itself out of Medford’s corpse and splashed itself onto her. The liquid was like oil, it could never mix with anything it seemed. Somehow it always remained pure. It slid over Schala’s body, deep cleaning her pores and elsewhere, ridding her of anything Medford would have left on her. It was a fast process that ended with the substance combing her hair thoroughly then disappearing within the raven locks. Her composure came back after a deep exhale. Pulling on her feather mouth elbow gloves she then turned to the opened window of the third story suite and stepped out into the night sky.
