Little Nightmares Enhanced Edition has been officially announced by Bandai Namco Entertainment during the Little Nightmares showcase overnight, confirming the game will arrive on PS5, PC, Nintendo Switch 2, and Xbox Series X/S on October 10 — the same day as Little Nightmares III.
Those of you who preorder Little Nightmares III however will be able to gain access to Little Nightmare Enhanced Edition now for PS5, PC, and Xbox Series X/S. Furthermore, those who own the original version of the critically acclaimed horror title will automatically be upgraded to the Enhanced Edition at launch.
Little Nightmares Enhanced Edition will feature a number of spruced up features over the original 2017 release, including Quality and Performance modes to favour resolution or frame rate, respectively. In addition, the game’s visuals have been given a makeover, with enhanced lighting effects, RTX reflections, water effects, and volumetric lighting all included.
Little Nightmares sees players taking on the role of a lost child, Six, who is stranded in a metal vessel known as the Maw, which is inhabited by malevolent, distorted versions of adults. As Six, you must navigate various locations while avoiding contact with enemies, running away where necessary and clambering up, over and under objects to avoid detection.
