A video has been leaked in which Sony shows how fast the loading times of the PlayStation 5 are.
The video was recorded during a business meeting during the Sony IR Day in Tokyo yesterday. CEO Kenichiro Yoshida and Jim Ryan were present to present. The video shows how quickly Marvel's Spider-Man starts up on a PlayStation 5 compared to the same game on a PlayStation 4 Pro. The PS5 has an SSD, with which faster loading times are achieved.
During the presentation, Sony called the console "the best place to play games" thanks to the use of the latest technology, including streaming, the cloud and 5G technology. Games must be accessible via disk, via downloads and via streaming.
Earlier this year, Sony already gave the specifications of the new console. It appears that the console will not appear until next year at the earliest, but a release period has not yet been officially announced.
